Chapter 59 - The Match Ended Before Anyone Was Ready

Takeshi Wakatsuki did not underestimate his opponent.

That was why, before the match even began, he repeatedly reviewed the three public Kengan matches Jaden had already fought. He watched them again and again.

And the more he watched, the heavier his expression became.

Because one thing became increasingly clear.

-Jaden was absolutely not a simple opponent.

The first match, against Ryo Himuro.

To be honest, if Ryo Himuro hadn't already understood his own limits, Wakatsuki was confident he could have knocked him out with a single punch.

But Jaden's punch in that match...

The angle was wrong.

Completely wrong.

Even Wakatsuki himself, with his strength, could have sent Ryo Himuro flying with a punch thrown from that position-an angle where the opponent's elbow constrained the fist joint, twisting the force generation and shortening the power path.

But knocking someone out cold?

With a single punch?

From that angle?

Impossible.

There was no way.

Then came the fight against Meguro.

That one didn't make Wakatsuki take Jaden too seriously.

Not at first.

Because what Jaden did there, Wakatsuki could also do. He simply wouldn't throw such a desperate, all-out heavy punch without reason.

Then came the third match.

The one against Nikaidou Ren.

This was the match Takeshi Wakatsuki focused on the most.

He replayed it dozens of times.

He analyzed every exchange.

He slowed down the footage.

Again.

And again.

Until, finally, after carefully reviewing the high-speed camera recording...

He came to a conclusion.

Jaden had thrown something close to a Mach Punch.

And that wasn't even the most terrifying part.

The truly frightening thing was this-

If Nikaidou Ren had taken that punch cleanly, without any reduction in force, he would have been killed on the spot.

Instant death.

Yet Jaden had stopped it.

At the very last moment.

A Mach Punch.

With precise control over power and release.

Combined with an absurdly high movement speed.

After realizing this, Wakatsuki didn't rely on assumptions.

He tested it.

He had someone simulate a supersonic impact using a transmitter, letting him experience what that kind of speed felt like firsthand.

And the result was clear.

His naked eye couldn't track it at all.

If he were hit, it would hurt immensely.

But as long as it didn't land on a vital area, he could endure a few hits without immediately losing his fighting ability.

However.

If it struck a vital point...

That was a different story.

Two punches?

No.

If it was somewhere like the chin-

One punch would be enough to end it.

The opponent's Mach Punch, combined with ultra-high-speed movement.

That combination posed an immense threat.

A truly dangerous one.

Because of that, before the match even started, Takeshi Wakatsuki had already made his decision.

-This was not a battle that could be dragged into a prolonged exchange.

Even if the opponent failed to strike a vital spot, the match would still end quickly.

At most, he could take five or six hits.

If he was willing to give up participating in the subsequent Kengan Annihilation Tournament and risk severe injury, maybe ten.

But the moment a vital area was hit-

Instant defeat.

However.

The same logic applied to his opponent.

Jaden's regular punches might not be enough.

But if Wakatsuki used his finishing move...

As long as it landed on Jaden's vitals-

No.

Even if it didn't hit a vital area, given Jaden's physique, he likely wouldn't be able to move or generate force freely afterward.

Of course, directly striking a vital point would be ideal.

But if that wasn't possible-

Disabling the opponent's dominant hand would also be enough.

That was Takeshi Wakatsuki's conclusion.

So, the moment the referee declared the match open, he stepped forward with one foot and clenched his fist.

-He intended to use his long-hidden finishing move immediately.

Blast Core.

This was no longer a match where he could afford to hide anything.

If he wanted to win, he had to use it.

At the same time, Jaden noticed the subtle shift in his opponent's movement.

The instant the Wild Tiger began preparing something unusual, Jaden activated his curse without hesitation.

And in the next moment-

The Wild Tiger moved.

The principle behind Blast Core was, in truth, very simple.

Contract every muscle in the body.

Then release them all at once.

Like compressing a spring to its limit and letting it snap back.

In the hands of an average person, this technique could produce a decent punch.

But when used by a monster like Takeshi Wakatsuki, its power was refined to an extremely terrifying level.

And this time, he wasn't just throwing it as a stationary strike.

He was charging forward.

Speed.

Combined with Blast Core's explosive release.

If it hit a vital area, the match would end in a single blow.

Absolute victory.

That was what Takeshi Wakatsuki was thinking.

Jaden, seeing the movement clearly, stomped his foot into the ground, lowered his arm, and prepared to throw a Mach Punch of his own.

He planned to take advantage of the stomach pain he had already inflicted.

That was also why he didn't use Soru.

He needed to give the opponent time.

Time to feel the pain.

Everything was calculated.

Every step.

Every beat.

However.

There was one thing Jaden had not accounted for.

The issue wasn't the power of Blast Core.

It was the principle behind it.

Full contraction.

Then full release.

Normally, this wasn't a problem.

But-

What if your stomach hurt at that exact moment?

That was precisely the situation Takeshi Wakatsuki found himself in.

He contracted all his muscles.

He stepped forward with his front foot.

And the moment his body lunged out-

A sharp pain surged through his stomach.

Blast Core required extreme focus.

Because it involved contracting the entire body at once.

That sudden stomach ache disrupted his concentration completely.

But the muscles were already contracted.

At that point, the power had to be released.

There was no stopping it.

So-

Pfffft-

The explosive force of Blast Core was not released through Takeshi Wakatsuki's fist.

Instead, because of the sudden pain-

It escaped from somewhere else entirely.

From his butt.

At the same time, his forward charge was already underway.

And Jaden's punch had already arrived.

The sound alone was enough.

Jaden instantly realized something was wrong.

Without hesitation, he smashed his punch straight forward.

Takeshi Wakatsuki, reacting purely on instinct, dodged his chin and raised his arms defensively.

Jaden lost the opportunity to strike an opening and instead drove his Mach Punch directly into the opponent's guard.

-He should have followed up.

Under normal circumstances, he absolutely would have.

But he had heard that sound.

So he immediately activated Soru and retreated to the farthest corner of the arena.

And then-

Everyone saw it.

The entire audience.

The commentators.

The fighters.

Although Wakatsuki managed to block the punch, the force of the Mach Punch still sent his already unstable body flying backward.

And as he flew-

Everything came out.

Liquid.

Solid.

All of it.

It poured from the leg openings of his shorts.

The most horrifying part was this-

The force caused his body to spin in midair.

So the contents were flung outward.

Like rain.

If Jaden hadn't retreated so quickly, he would have been completely drenched.

Takeshi Wakatsuki hit the ground.

Then he collapsed.

Face down.

Completely still.

He shut down instantly.

Mentally.

Jaden's punch had landed.

Wakatsuki had defended, barely.

The impact hurt, but it was nothing serious.

But now, with his face buried in the dirt-

He didn't want to get up.

Because he knew.

He knew exactly what had just happened.

He had realized it the moment he landed.

He-

He had diarrhea.

In a Kengan match.

On stage.

In front of everyone.

Did he still deserve to walk upright on Earth?

Shouldn't he just migrate to Mars immediately?

Even if he pretended to be unconscious and claimed later that he didn't remember anything when he was carried away-

The rumors would still spread.

The Wild Tiger.

Beaten into incontinence.

Live.

On stage.

Ah...

It was over.

As Takeshi Wakatsuki roared internally, Jaden stood at a distance, staring at the opponent lying motionless on the ground.

His expression was... subtle.

To be honest, this outcome had far exceeded even his expectations.

He blinked once.

Then, out of what could only be described as kindness, he spoke.

"Um..."

"Takeshi."

"Stop playing dead."

There was a brief pause.

"How about you go change your shorts first?"
