Chapter 16 - Chapter 16: The Organization’s Return – The White Shadows

Scene One: The Headache and the Fracture

Haru was walking through the fantasy world alongside Joceka and Narka—now no longer hostile, but a partial ally.

Suddenly, a crushing headache struck him, as if something were drilling into his mind.

He froze, clutching his head.

"What… is this?" he muttered.

Joceka looked around anxiously.

"The world… it's cracking."

The violet sky began to fracture, as if reality itself were made of breaking glass.

From the cracks, unfamiliar sounds leaked in:

The beeping of medical machines…

Low, commanding voices…

Mechanical humming…

And a clear voice stating:

"Subject 47… heart rate increasing."

From one of the larger fractures, a cold white gate opened.

A man stepped through, wearing a long medical coat, his face covered, dark glasses hiding his eyes.

Behind him flashed glimpses of a laboratory:

Metal beds, tangled tubes, restrained children, young adults being injected with unknown substances.

The man spoke calmly, emotionless.

"Haru… the experiment is not over.

Return to the bed."

Scene Two: The Organization Revealed

Haru stared in shock.

"Who are you?"

The man smiled coldly.

"We are the Organization.

We take people like you—

those with abnormal abilities.

Future dreams. The syndrome. Imagination-based power."

He stepped forward.

"We experiment on them.

We turn them into tools.

And you… were a remarkable test subject."

A chill ran through Haru.

"Your ability to foresee the future…

could have allowed us to control time itself."

Narka stepped forward, his gaze sharp.

"These are the ones who started everything.

They implanted the syndrome in you.

They forced you to see the panther… and the pillar."

Rage surged within Haru.

"You experimented on me?"

The man—later known as Dr. Saito—nodded.

"Yes. And we partially succeeded.

But you escaped… into your own mind.

Now… it's time for you to return."

Scene Three: Confrontation and Threat

Dr. Saito raised his hand and produced a small device from his sleeve.

A cold blue beam shot out, striking the ground beside Haru, turning it into solid metal.

Haru raised his axe, deflecting the next beam.

Narka charged at the doctor, but Dr. Saito evaded effortlessly and countered with an electric strike, sending Narka crashing to the ground.

"Haru!" Joceka shouted.

"We must close the gate!"

Haru closed his eyes and envisioned new power.

"I'll close it."

He slammed his axe into the ground.

A violent violet wave surged outward, sealing the gate temporarily.

Dr. Saito vanished inside it at the last moment.

Scene Four: Warning and Resolve

The headache subsided slightly, but Haru was still breathing heavily.

Narka stood and looked at him seriously.

"They won't leave you alone.

The Organization exists.

And they know you're back."

Joceka nodded.

"The experiments never stopped.

We must prepare."

Haru tightened his grip on the axe, determination filling his eyes.

"If they want me…

then they'll face me."
