Kanan, a boy from Melody Village, is far removed from the life of a tamer. Growing up alone in the remote countryside, each day is a struggle. But hard times demand harder solutions, and the young protagonist sets off into the dangerous wilderness to survive. However, his journey leads him to a fateful encounter. Chased by beasts and starving, the boy is rescued by a small beast. Together they set off on a journey that will reshape the beast taming world.
