Chapter 12 - Chapter 12 Throwing Pillars to Kill Enemies

"Trying to run? Not that easy!"

Hawking struck a pose and unleashed another Kamehameha, blowing up one of the combat helicopters.

These were rare Justice Points; how could he let them go?

However, after firing this shot, he clearly felt that his body could no longer condense a second Kamehameha.

He looked around and quickly locked his gaze on a decorative stone pillar on the left side of the School Castle.

He ran over, used a hand chop to strike the stone pillar from top to bottom, quickly dislodging it, then aimed at the last combat helicopter, which had almost become a tiny black dot, and with a loud shout, threw it with all his might.

The four-meter-long, half-meter-thick stone pillar, propelled by Hawking's full strength, shot out like a missile, flying directly towards the almost invisible black dot.

"Boom!"

The last combat helicopter also turned into a beautiful firework in the sky.

Thirteen-year-old Goku had already climbed Korin Tower and fought Mercenary Tao; Hawking, with the Goku template loaded, could naturally perform a similar feat of throwing a stone pillar like Mercenary Tao.

If he wanted to, he could even leap to catch up with the stone pillar and ride it to a distant place.

Earlier in Sokovia, if not for the fear of becoming a prime target for missiles in the air, he could have used this method to quickly fly out of the city from the start.

"I take back what I said earlier; you truly are a very competent warrior!"

Watching the last combat helicopter explode in the sky, Wolverine turned to Hawking, raising the outermost Adamantium claw on his right hand.

Hawking, however, extended his hand towards Wolverine.

"What?"

Wolverine didn't quite understand Hawking's meaning.

"Smoke!"

Hawking pointed to the cigar in Wolverine's hand.

Wolverine quickly waved his hand:

"No, this isn't for you. You'll have to wait a few more years."

However, with a flash of Shadow, the cigar case and lighter in his pocket had already fallen into Hawking's hand.

In terms of speed, he couldn't compare to Hawking in his current state.

Drawing a cigar from the case and lighting it, Hawking put it in his mouth with a serious air.

He certainly wasn't going to smoke; at this moment, it was just to tease Wolverine, who kept giving him strange nicknames.

"Oh, God, Professor will kill me!"

Wolverine's eye twitched as he saw Hawking with the cigar.

Professor X already disliked him smoking in the School, and last time, he had specifically warned him for smoking in the Cerebro Chamber.

He said if he did it again, he would turn his mind into a six-year-old girl and have Jean braid his hair.

If Professor X found out he had given a student at the School a cigarette, he would be finished.

"Don't worry, if Professor X finds out I'm smoking and drinking, I'll say Logan taught me."

Hawking dangled the lit cigar in front of Wolverine.

"Alright, I won't call you Xiao Houzi anymore. This must be kept a secret!"

Logan covered his forehead.

After a joke, Hawking stopped chatting with Wolverine and asked about the serious matter:

"Logan, where did Professor X and the others go tonight?"

"I'm not very clear either. I only arrived at the School in the evening. Professor Charles said he was going to visit an old friend. Jean and the others went to Boston; it seems to be related to a Mutant attack on the President."

Due to Hawking's strength and his mature demeanor, Wolverine no longer treated him as an ordinary child.

Upon hearing Logan's words, Hawking's pupils immediately constricted.

"This is bad, Logan, do you know where Professor X's Cerebro Chamber is?"

"Of course."

Logan nodded.

The School Cerebro Chamber.

"It really is Colonel Stryker!"

Hawking looked at the forcibly destroyed entrance and the vanished Cerebro machine, completely confirming who had orchestrated the attack on the Mutant School.

Colonel Stryker, full name William Stryker.

Because his son was a Mutant and accidentally killed his wife when he couldn't control his powers, he swore to eliminate all Mutants in the World.

He captured Mutants everywhere for experiments, attempting to create the most powerful weapon to slaughter all Mutants, which led to the creation of Wolverine, who possesses Adamantium.

Now, he was using his son's brain fluid to control Nightcrawler, who can teleport, to assassinate the President, thereby luring Professor X to visit Magneto in prison to capture him, and coincidentally drawing away the Professor from the School, sending people to steal the Cerebro machine.

Finally, he intended to use his son Mastermind's ability to control Professor X, through the Cerebro machine, to kill all Mutants globally.

"I just don't know if the Cerebro machine was taken away."

After a moment of thought, Hawking sighed.

Because he remembered seeing a transport plane parked on the lawn outside the School earlier, which later disappeared.

So, it was highly likely that Stryker had already obtained the Cerebro machine.

"These guys are capturing students and stealing the Cerebro machine. What is their purpose?"

Wolverine looked at the vanished Cerebro machine with a puzzled expression.

Such brain-intensive matters were clearly not suited for him.

"Time is almost up!"

Hawking, who was pondering what to do next, saw the countdown for the protagonist template loading completion pop up on his panel and immediately said to Wolverine:

"Go to the secret passage and find Piotr. Have him try to contact Professor X and all the teachers using the School's communication facilities. My power has reached its limit; I need to rest."

Before he could finish speaking, his eyes rolled back, and he fainted.

"Xiao Houzi!"

Seeing Hawking suddenly faint, Wolverine was also greatly alarmed and quickly went to pick him up.

He only breathed a sigh of relief after checking and finding that he had merely fainted.

"What a strange ability."

Watching Hawking's hair return to normal, the staff behind him disappear, and his clothes change back to regular attire, Wolverine carried Hawking towards the secret passage where Piotr and the others had just left.

Many Mutants, before fully maturing, experience long periods of unconsciousness due to their bodies being unable to handle extended use of their powers, and he assumed Hawking was the same.

Drowsy, drowsy.

"Brother! Brother!"

A familiar call made Hawking gradually open his eyes.

Wanda and Pietro, seeing Hawking awake, immediately cried and rushed into his arms.

Born in war-torn Sokovia, although they were much stronger than typical children their age, they were still greatly frightened when they saw Wolverine return carrying an unconscious Hawking.

"It's alright, don't cry. I'm fine."

Hawking sat up, comforting the siblings while surveying his surroundings.

A luxurious Villa; all the Mutant children from the School were here. It must be a temporary shelter that Professor X had set up outside the School as a precaution.

"You were unconscious for an hour. It seems you're alright now."

Noticing that Hawking had woken up, Wolverine, carrying a bottle of beer, walked over.

Hawking's heart stirred upon hearing Wolverine's words.

"Only an hour. As expected, the improvement in my base strength can greatly reduce the side effects of loading the protagonist template."
