Damian kept his cool despite the storm of emotions that was welling up inside of him. He had pinched himself at least five times now, and for the fifth time he was reminded that he wasn't dreaming. It had really happened, Ethan Brown had really kissed him.
"I…I don't know what to do now. I don't…"
Damian's voice cracked on the last word, barely above a whisper. His eyes darted around Ethan's own, searching them for an answer he wasn't exactly certain of.
Ethan didn't pull away. He stayed exactly where he was, forehead still resting lightly against Damian's, thumb brushing slow, soothing arcs along his cheekbone.
"Neither do I." Ethan replied before finally putting some space between himself and Damian. "This is still new to me…I don't even know if it's right or not…"
"I understand. You don't have to do anything," Damian murmured. "Not right now. Not if you're not ready."
There was a lengthy silence between them, an awkward one that was only broken when Damian spoke again.
