One day, there was an old man named Yanashi who was walking through a forest, hunting monsters whenever he encountered them and hunting animals to provide himself with a source of food.
But while he was exploring the forest, he heard the sound of a human child crying. He ran toward the sound until he arrived…
"A child crying? How on earth could a child be here in a dangerous forest like this?"
A small child, covered with a light cloth soaked in blood, was lying in the arms of a headless woman, and around them were mounds of corpses.
"What the hell is this that I'm seeing?!"
Without any hesitation, after witnessing this scene of massacre, Yanashi took the child and started running as fast as he could back to his home.
While running, he thought to himself:
"Impossible… I swear I counted the bodies in two seconds. There were thirty corpses. Was it Fenrir? No, impossible. Fenrir wouldn't be this hostile. But I can't imagine anything less than a magical beast having done this."
When he finally reached home:
"My goodness, what was I thinking when I took this child? I didn't raise myself just to raise a child. He won't stop crying—he must be hungry. I have no solution except to milk some cow's milk for him."
Yanashi went to the back of his house, where he had a small farm in which he raised cows, sheep, and chickens as well.
He headed toward the individual cow stalls.
"Alright, this one will do."
And he began milking the cow. While doing so, Yanashi sensed an ominous Chikara energy emanating from the house.
"Hm??!!!"
Without any delay, fearing for the child's safety, he focused his own Chikara throughout his entire body and burst forward at lightning speed toward his house.
While doing so, Yanashi asked himself a question.

He entered the house, heading toward the room where he had left the child alone.
He muttered to himself before entering.

He kicked the door open while shouting:
"It's impossible for me to die a coward, after spending my whole life running away from them!!!"
