Chapter 6 - space 6

Vuke had imagined several situations when they had led him down the corridors, maybe he was once again changing owners, maybe he'd have another tag round his neck like a dog.

Maybe they'd realized he was useless after all and had decided to trade him for something better, a low grade weapon maybe. But that couldn't be, he was no longer the useless half cored male he had been in the kingdom of space.

He was now a full cored male maybe not powerful enough because he had not had the time to train or extract energy from soul boosting power systems, but he was enough a male now to aid birth an heir or power up a female to an extent.

So it couldn't be they wanted to sell him. What if, the rumors about the northern wastelands were true. He looked at the overly eccentric suit he wore and the shoes made from whatever material that did not make a sound when it hit the floor. Maybe he was going to be a sacrifice for whatever demonic being they worship in this day and age.

Was he going to be brutally killed? Or even worse fed to a wild carnivorous animal so huge and powerful he could not fight nor resist with his current strength.

What if they would roast him atop a fire pit slowly to let his tantalizing smell waft off to please their carnivorous beast of a god. With each second that had passed he had imagined the worst. His thoughts getting more and more cannibalistic as time went on.

However not in his forty two years of existence had he thought he could be so shocked.

He had quietly obeyed the instructions of the female general to stand atop a round port, he later realized was a partial teleportation system. It had taken them to a place he guessed was not so far from the castle since the gargantuan building was still in sight, however not so close since it looked so far from sight.

They had directly appeared on an aisle in a grand hall that had a semblance of a court room with the positioning of the furniture. The females occupying the twenty four seats high up the front of the hall overlooked the entire setting. The whites of their peculiar gowns were particularly eye catching and as he heard the announcer say the next words he had almost ran back, he really would, but he couldn't for at that moment, he felt faint.

"All rise to meet the groom..."

Groom? Groom!!!?

What in the actual unrealistic HELL!!!!

His eyes roamed the gathering, yep he was the only male. The only one in a tux too. They couldn't probably be mistaking right? Maybe they were initiating a couple who for some reason in this world had decided to marry through a screening device.

Maybe it wasn't him.

However when he saw how the eyes of the crowd scrutinized him as he strutted down the aisle in his gad damned tux he knew he was either dreaming or a messed up reality caught up to him!.
