Chapter 7 - Space 7

In haste, his confused eyes scanned the entire grand hall. Seven of them, seven of the females in the crowd wore the veil. They stood aligned at the front of the grand hall.

He had been scared shitless when the publicist had announced him the groom at his arrival.

So scared that he'd only seen the white gowns and rainbows. Rainbows because he had almost fainted. And he would have if not for his new otherworldly body.

‎ Aside from the seven veiled females, there was a staged floor a few steps above the aligned women. There almost Twenty four other females stood. They had no veils on. Their attires though had a few red ruby like gems on them. They stood sparsely at the counter raised at the forefront. Like a judiciary.

‎This looked too much like a medieval court room. Except it missed a judge. But he guessed the empty space in the middle of the council of standing ladies were probably her seat. Huh was this not a Medieval wedding? He could tell that by the people's dress code. Why were they in a court room instead of a church then?

. Wait what was he thinking, what did he know or care about a wedding. He was going to be trapped and bound to one or even all of these seven veiled females through this unannounced, uninformed, unconcerted wedding, he had to escape. But how?

Wait a minute, seven veiled females... The seven voices, the females responsible for his being here. He still remembered their last words,: Let's keep him. Keep him? So this was their way of keeping him? Well he was no dog and he didn't need keeping. Who wanted to be kept, huh.

For heavens sake he's acquired a mega ace. A mighty system!

Just let him soar the heavens in peace!

He just wants to be strong, come back and avenge the poor guy who died unfairly due to that maniacal Minister's pursuit, and then he'll live happily ever after.

Who said that that line only belonged to princesses? He wanted a happily ever after too.His predicament hadn't lasted long this time either as the doors to the court room were opened once again. Vuke had never known in his entire life he'd be so shocked until he saw the person walking through the door. Yes, she dorned a different attire maybe made her hair, but that was her right? The creepy woman from the changing room. How.. What...

‎And then he heard it, the voice of the announcer,

‎"Entering,..... Head of the court... Queen mother Delis Villeneuve."

‎Queen ... Queen mother?!! As in mother of the queens? She?..Her?

The weird lady from the changing room occupied the seat in the middle, where there'd been an empty space before, prompting all the others to sit too.

"‎We have gathered here today to witness the union, marriage and ascension of one of my precious daughters, which ever may be chosen today by the groom. "

Her voice boomed across the hall. A personality so different from what he had seen before. She looked like a queen now, no an empress of high standing daring the crowd to not submit.
