Chapter 2 - CHAPTER TWO; LESSONS OF POWER

Sero Authority: Mindless Journey — Chapter 2: Lessons of Power

"Very good," Matthew said approvingly. "Now, let's move back to our topic: Axiom Energy and beings known as Mortality."

"First of all, what is an Axiom?" Matthew asked, then answered himself.

"An Axiom is a personal truth, conviction, or principle so strong that it can bend reality to match it.

It is:

Invisible: You can't see it like fire or energy. Internal: It exists inside the mind, soul, or consciousness. Objective and Absolute (in its influence): The stronger your belief in it, the more power it generates."

"Secondly, how does an Axiom work?" Matthew continued.

"Every person has one or more potential Axioms — ideas or rules they live by.

When you activate an Axiom through Axiom Weaving, it becomes expressed as power in the world.

The power output depends on:

Clarity: How unshakable your personal truth is. Emotional resonance: The intensity of your conviction. Alignment with actions: Your Axiom grows stronger when your behavior reflects it."

Matthew stretched out his arm. "For example—Axiom Weaving: People Fire, Fire!"

A small flame reflected on his palm, flickering and dancing with clarity.

"That's all," Matthew concluded. "Any questions?"

Five seconds passed. No one spoke.

"Now, let's focus on the next topic: Beings known as Mortality."

Matthew snapped his fingers. A glowing screen appeared in midair.

"As you can see, these beings are called Mortality. Some of the notable ones are:

Aurelion – Morality of TruthVelkris – Morality of JusticeSeraphae – Morality of CompassionDraevos – Morality of JudgementNocthar – Morality of ConsequenceMythalion – Morality of PurposeElyndra – Morality of SacrificeKaelthos – Morality of OrderZyraeth – Morality of FreedomSerozan – Morality of Beginning

"These are the ones officially recognized by the Eldrath Governors of this world."

Students from other classes began moving toward the Assembly Ground.

Matthew coughed to regain their attention. "Students! I know today is the day you all will join a Stage League, but remember — a club is not about its name. Do not go to the battlefield and bark about your titles. Show what you are capable of."

He raised his hand. "Good luck, my students. You are dismissed."

At the Assembly Ground, a woman of average height stepped forward.

"Good day, fellow Axiomser," she announced. "We have gathered today for our Annual Axiomser Graduation Ceremony."

She smiled at the crowd. "The leaders of the Great Houses are present today to see the young generation take up the mantle and become full Axiomser. Let us welcome our School Director, Edward Fairchild."

Students and guests clapped as Edward Fairchild stepped onto the stage.

"Welcome, everyone," he began. "Today, we will assign our new Axiomser to the Stage League to begin their missions for the kingdom.

"There are four leagues:

Stage League ThreeStage League TwoStage League OneGrand Stage League Premiership

"These levels are given to those who have passed through the academy. Today, everyone here will be assigned the Rank of Stage League Three. Step into the circle, and your Axiom Energy output will be shown to you and the Great Houses.

"Remember, we do not respect nobles simply accepting their children into the Stages to save them from disgrace. The House of Blackwood will surely remember what the King did to them last year.

"Now, let the Stage League ranks begin."
