Chapter 21 - _film_

On the set, they sat together in a quiet stillness—the kind that pressed gently against the air

Irel looked down at the script resting in his hands

After a moment, he lifted his gaze

"Okay," he said calmly. "I'll read it."

He paused—just long enough for everyone to lean in

"In this story… it is all forbidden love."

A silence followed

"The story unfolds across different timelines," Irel continued. "The past, the middle timeline between past and present, and the present—each carrying its own kind of suffering."

He turned a page

"In the past timeline, where everything was forbidden yet deeply felt, Ash is an artist, and Izan is a dancer."

Another pause

"In the middle timeline—not too far in the past, not yet the present—Yuri walks alongside a gangster

Yuri is a pure figure, almost priest-like, chosen by God and gifted with miraculous healing. Their bond exists in a fragile space between light and darkness."

His voice softened

"Lytheil and I exist in the past as well—princes of two different kingdoms, divided by fate."

Finally, he looked up again

"And in the present timeline… Aerel is a famous writer and Aerith is a famous actor."

Irel closed the script

"This is a story where love is forbidden in every era."

He took a breath

"This film asks one question."

The room felt suspended

_Can love exist in a world that forbids it?_

"And when the film ends," Irel said quietly, "it gives the answer."

A beat

_"The film itself is the answer."_

No one spoke

The silence this time was different—stunned, reverent

Yuri was the first to break it

"Woah," he murmured softly

"It's really beautiful," Aerith added

Aeris and Ash shared a quiet smile

Aerel and Izan's eyes sparkled, reflecting something unspoken

Lytheil's POV

It reached them

All of them

Irel looked up from the script, his calm gaze sweeping across the group

"Now," he said softly, "we'll start with the scene of the artist Ash, and the dancer, Izan."

A subtle hush fell over the room, as if even the air were holding its breath

He paused, letting the weight of the words settle

Irel's voice lowered, almost reverent

"Okay. We'll begin these scenes tomorrow. I'll explain each one, and you'll act them out. The other scenes will follow in the days after, so everyone, get ready."

Izan and Ash's eyes met, holding, lingering—two worlds speaking silently through a single glance

Irel smiled lightly, watching them

Lytheil's gaze shifted to Irel

His eyes softened

Lytheil's POV

_Maybe… he is different_

The streets were quiet, bathed in the pale glow of the streetlights

Irel walked slowly, the cold night air pressing against him

He sighed softly, the sound barely audible over the hum of the city

Irel's POV

After all those years… now, I feel alive

His gaze lowered softly

He saw someone standing there, framed by the dim light

His lips parted, barely a whisper.

"Lytheil…?"
