Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: The Beginning of Better Days for Yusuf’s Family

The entities (shadows/creatures) had promised Yusuf's eldest son that they would no longer haunt them, and for the most part, they kept that promise. While those entities would occasionally still manifest within Mrs. Yusuf, they had ceased to be a major source of distress after their encounter with the eldest son. During this period, Mrs. Yusuf's health improved significantly; her blood pressure remained stable, and her sugar levels no longer spiked. Even when that familiar "state" took over her now, she no longer felt the paralyzing terror she once did.

In the past, whenever that entity would leave Mrs. Yusuf's body, she would be left in agonizing physical pain. Now, that pain had vanished; everything seemed to have settled. Around the same time, the eldest son secured a good job, finally resolving the financial struggles that had plagued the household. Preparations were now underway for the weddings of both the eldest son and the youngest daughter. Previously, the daughter's health had deteriorated in the exact same manner as her mother's, but now, life was finally moving forward with peace and tranquility.

The weddings of both siblings were arranged with great joy. The eldest son was particularly happy about his marriage, but immediately following the ceremony, something happened that no one could have imagined. On the very second day of the marriage, while the eldest son's wife was visiting her mother's house, her condition suddenly took a turn for the worse. She began vomiting a dark, black substance, and her state became so critical that she struggled to even draw breath.

Terrified, his mother-in-law called him immediately, and he rushed to his wife's side. Sensing the gravity of the situation and realizing this was no mere medical ailment, the mother-in-law had already summoned a woman known for spiritual healing (performing dum). Upon seeing the bride, the healer stated clearly: she had been "attacked" by an entity.

When the eldest son arrived, his wife seemed to gather some strength from his presence, and her condition began to stabilize slightly. However, the son was plunged into deep thought. Could this be the same entity that resided in their home? They hadn't troubled anyone in a long time. If not them, then what kind of new shadow had crossed their path?
