Chapter 14 - Chapter 14: The Eldest Son’s Encounter in the Dream World

During the final conversation with Shah Saab, he gave a chilling warning: the entity residing within their home and attached to his mother was the most powerful among the Jinn. For a moment, everything seemed to settle down after the family returned home, but the peace was short-lived. That night, Mrs. Yousuf's eldest son had a dream so terrifying that it surpassed anything they had ever experienced.

The First Dream: The Master of the House

In his dream, the eldest son found himself in a dilapidated, ancient house containing two rooms. A heavy sense of dread hung over the place; the entire family stood outside in a large courtyard, paralyzed by fear and refusing to enter the rooms. Mrs. Yousuf appeared in the dream and warned her son urgently:

"My son, do not go inside those rooms. This house belongs to Him."

Confused, the son asked who she was talking about. She pointed toward the shadows and said, "To the one standing right there."

Because of the thick darkness, the figure initially looked like a man. Ignoring his mother's pleas, the son stepped forward boldly, declaring, "This is our home, and I will not let anyone else live here!"

The True Form of the Entity

As he drew closer, the entity revealed its true, horrific form. It was neither strictly man nor woman; its entire body was covered in thick hair, and its skin was a deep, void-like black. It moved erratically, shifting from walking on two legs to crawling on all fours like a beast. As the son approached, it began to growl like a predator.

Despite the terror, the son stood his ground. "I am not afraid of you," he shouted. "Even if you take my life, I will not let you hurt my mother or my family!"

The entity finally spoke: "This house is mine. I live here. You all must leave."

The son countered, "So, you are Gaggo Darwaish? You are the one who has been lying to me for five years? Sometimes appearing as a woman, sometimes a man, and sometimes a child. What do you actually want from us?"

The creature replied, "Yes, that is the name I gave you, but it is not my real name. Your mother is the one who called me here, along with all my companions. If you try to force me out, I will take her with me. I could kill you right here, but I won't—there is a 'hand' over your head (protection)."

The Second Dream: The Warning of Blood

The son woke up but kept the dream a secret. However, the very next night, he had another nightmare. He saw his own bedroom covered in walls of dripping blood. In the center of the room sat his wife, but her face was distorted and monstrous. She was hungrily devouring raw meat, her face stained crimson as she chewed.

Horrified, the eldest son rushed to Shah Saab the next morning and recounted both dreams in detail.

Shah Saab's Resolve

After listening, Shah Saab remained calm. "This entity is trying to break your spirit through fear. It is all a game they play. You must stay strong for your mother; Allah's help is with you. Do not step back now."

He continued, "I am with you. I asked you for the Wild Plum (Ber) and Acacia (Babool) thorns for a reason. I will use them to eliminate this entity. You just need to trap it and bring it to me one last time."
