Chapter 22 - Chapter 22: High-End Hospital, High-End Expenses

Mrs. Yousuf was now admitted to a prestigious hospital. This was only possible because of the kindness of that noble man. The initial deposit of $5,000 was exhausted in just three to four days. The doctors explained that they still couldn't pinpoint the exact nature of her illness. They insisted that until they identified the disease, they couldn't begin proper treatment, and so they started a series of extremely expensive tests.

Soon, the hospital counter called Mrs. Yousuf's son, Hassan, and informed him that he needed to deposit another $10,000 as the treatment would take more time. Hassan called the benefactor again for financial help. The man replied, "Hassan, do not worry. Give me the hospital's account number; I am transferring $10,000 from my account right now."

It was a vast amount of money, but it wasn't more valuable than his mother's life. This hospital was their last hope for her recovery. Twenty days passed this way. The doctors exhausted every resource and performed every possible test, but there was no improvement. Neither did her condition stabilize, nor could the disease be diagnosed. Finally, they conducted a final test whose results were expected in a week.

On the 20th day, the hospital called in their most senior specialist. After examining Mrs. Yousuf, the doctor revealed that half of her body had stopped functioning, yet strangely, all her medical reports were clear. Taking Hassan aside, the senior doctor said, "Cases like this are very rare. Such patients often have incurable conditions. It is better to take her home and pray. May Allah grant her health, Insha'Allah."

Hassan understood then that his mother's time was running out.

Another incident occurred while his mother was in the hospital. Hassan's younger sister, who had recently given birth to a son, came to visit. Shortly after her visit, her health suddenly deteriorated, mimicking their mother's symptoms. That "entity" began calling out Hassan's name through her. Hassan, who was at the hospital with his mother, received a frantic call from his brother-in-law. "Brother, come quickly!" he urged.

When Hassan arrived, the entity began to laugh at the sight of him. It hissed, "So, you've arrived? You know your mother is about to leave now. We need another body to inhabit, and from now on, we will stay inside your sister."

Hassan pleaded, "Let it be so, but her child is still very small. Leave her body and come out." The entity struck a bargain: "We haven't eaten in many days. Give us food." After consuming a massive amount of food, the entity finally departed from his younger sister's body
