Chapter 28 - Chapter 28: A New Hero Emerges

After the death of Shah Saab, I hadn't met anyone who possessed more power than him or who could truly stand against the forces haunting us. Now, that malevolent entity had begun attacking my younger sister and my wife as well. Left with no other choice, I followed my elder sister's husband's advice and took them to his cousin, Imran Bhai—widely known as Imran Baba.

This wasn't our first time seeking his help. We had visited him once before, shortly before my mother's passing. Back then, he had simply said, "Your mother doesn't have much time left; I wish you had brought her to me sooner." Today, driven by desperation once again, we stood before him.

Imran Baba used to be an ordinary man, just like anyone else. However, a few years ago, things changed; he began seeing things that no one else could see. At first, he was deeply disturbed, convinced that something was wrong with his mind. For a while, he lived in this state of confusion and fear.

Then, one day, those entities tried to communicate with Imran Baba directly. He shared the details of that terrifying experience with me himself. He recalled a day he was on his rooftop:

"I looked out and saw something massive—a shadow stretching from the ground all the way up to the third floor of my house. I was so terrified that I ran back to my room and hid. If I had told anyone, they would have mocked me or called me crazy, so I kept it to myself. I would go to work as usual, but those voices would follow me, calling out my name."

The man who was once haunted by his own fear had now become my last glimmer of hope. It felt as though, after the loss of Shah Saab, I had finally found another "Hero" capable of saving my family from this torment.
