Lyra's POV
The training session with Ash left me completely drained, though I had to admit I learned more in those few hours than I had in weeks. Despite the exhaustion coursing through every muscle, I found myself asking Ash if we could make this a regular arrangement. The way his eyes lit up when I suggested it sent an unexpected flutter through my chest.
We settled on Monday for our next session, giving my body time to recover from the intense workout. As I stumbled back to my dorm room, every step reminded me of how thoroughly Ash had pushed my limits. My legs felt like jelly, and my arms ached from the repeated drills he had put me through.
I collapsed face-first onto my bed with zero grace, not even bothering to change out of my sweat-soaked clothes. The soft mattress felt like heaven against my exhausted body.
