Chapter 1 - She was my Exception ...

Chapter 1

The school bell rang, and the corridors burst into chaos.Students rushed out of classrooms, laughter and chatter filling the air.

A girl ran through the corridor, clutching her books tightly.

"Martha!" she called, her voice echoing. "Where are you?!"

She turned the corner—and suddenly stopped.

There, in the dim corner of the staircase, sat Martha… alone.

Her head was down. Her shoulders trembled.

The girl rushed to her.

"What happened to you? Why are you sitting here alone… and crying?" Luna asked, kneeling beside her.

Martha didn't look up immediately.

For a moment, there was only silence.

Then, in a broken voice—

"Do you really want to know…?" she whispered.

Luna frowned. "Of course I do. You're scaring me."

Martha finally lifted her face.

Her eyes were red. Not just from crying… but from something deeper.

Something wrong.

"It's not what you think," she said slowly."Things are… getting worse."

Luna's grip on her books tightened. "What do you mean?"

Martha glanced around nervously, as if someone might be watching.

Then she leaned closer.

"I think…" she paused, her voice barely audible,"someone is following me."

Luna's heart skipped.

"Don't joke like that."

"I'm not joking," Martha said. "I see him… every day.Same place. Same time."

A cold silence fell between them.

Luna forced a small laugh. "You're probably just overthinking—"

"Luna."

The way Martha said her name made her stop.

"He was here today," Martha whispered."Inside the school."

Luna felt a chill run down her spine.

Without realizing it, she turned slightly—

towards the staircase behind them.

For a second…

she thought she saw something move.

A faint movement.

A shadow—just for a second.

Luna froze.

"What was that…?" she whispered, her voice unsteady. "I saw something move."

Martha's grip tightened around her arm.

"W-we should leave," she said quickly. "Let's go… I'm scared."

Without waiting, Martha pulled her along. The two hurried down the corridor, their footsteps quick and uneven, disappearing into the noise of the school.

Silence returned.

For a moment… nothing.

Then—

Footsteps.

Slow. Measured. Calm.

A figure emerged from the shadows of the staircase.

Tall. Around 6'2.Dressed in a long black coat.

He stopped exactly where Martha had been sitting.

A quiet breath escaped him.

"Ah…" he murmured softly."She was here."

He looked down at the empty space, his expression unreadable.

A faint, unsettling smile curved on his lips.

"Interesting."

He stood there for a moment, as if memorizing it.

"Seems like this place…" he said under his breath,"might become my favorite."

He creepy smiled and touched the ground where she was sitting and smells his hand

Noah-" oh! even the ground she touched is smelling like havon"

He starts to following her ...

"What you think will happen next?"
