Chapter 11 - The Difference Between Ordinary People and Monsters

"They're members of the former Giant Warrior Pirates," Jin said. "From what they said, they've been guarding this gate in order to rescue their captains—Brogy and Dorry."

"The Marines promised them that if they guarded the gate for a hundred years, they'd release the two giant captains from Impel Down."

"But that's a lie!!" Usopp shouted angrily, stepping forward. "Brogy and Dorry are on Little Garden! They were never in Impel Down!"

Back on Little Garden, if it hadn't been for those two proud warriors of Elbaf, they might never have escaped that terrifying monster alive.

Those damned Marines—deceiving honorable giant warriors like this was unforgivable!

"What's going on with them?" Sanji lit a cigarette and glanced at the two giants. "They seem to think you're their captain."

He'd seen it clearly earlier—those two giants were the ones who stopped the Rocket Man.

Otherwise, stopping it wouldn't have been easy at all.

"Yeah. I used genjutsu to make them see me as those two," Jin shrugged. "You could say it was coincidence."

Originally, he'd only planned to use illusion to turn the giants into temporary combat power.

But now it seemed that illusion might not even be necessary.

Just telling them the truth would be enough to make them allies.

"So ninjas can do something like that?!" Zoro stared at Jin in shock.

Now he finally understood how the front gate had been opened.

Using illusions to control people—then making them open the gates themselves!

Good thing this man was their ally.

Otherwise, he'd be an absolutely terrifying opponent.

"That's so cool!" Chopper said excitedly.

So this was the power of ninjas—way too amazing!

"For me, this isn't really anything special," Jin said.

But before he could continue—

Sanji suddenly rushed in front of him and grabbed his shoulders.

"Brother, if we ever go to a bathhouse together, could you—"

DUANG!

Nami's fist smashed straight into Sanji's head, knocking him flat on the ground.

"You idiot! What the hell are you thinking?!" she yelled.

"Heh. Typical perverted cook," Zoro sneered.

Sanji lay on the ground in silence.

As someone whose lifelong dream involved the Clear-Clear Fruit, he truly wanted to be good friends with Jin.

"You wouldn't do something like that, right?" Nami tilted her head, smiling sweetly at Jin.

"Don't worry. I'm not like him."

Jin immediately drew a clear line, looking as though he didn't even know Sanji.

Nami nodded with a satisfied expression, then still stomped Sanji once more for good measure.

Behind them, the Franky Family and Barry stared in silence.

At a time like this, they still had the energy to mess around…

"Jin," Usopp said seriously, "please release your genjutsu."

"I'll explain the truth to them myself."

Two proud warriors of the giant race being deceived into guarding a gate for a hundred years—

That humiliation was unbearable.

"Alright."

Since Usopp had spoken, Jin didn't hesitate and immediately dispelled the illusion.

The next moment, Oimo and Kashii's bodies trembled.

The figures of Dorry and Brogy vanished from before their eyes.

"Huh? Where did our captains go?!" Kashii said in confusion.

"Oimo is confused too."

"Hey! You two!" Usopp shouted loudly.

"Who are you?" Oimo looked at Usopp in confusion, not understanding why this human was calling out to him.

Kashii, however, turned his gaze toward Jin and frowned.

"Was this your doing?"

Before seeing their captains, the last person he remembered seeing was this strangely dressed human.

"What's going on?" Kashii demanded.

"He'll explain everything to you," Jin said, pointing at Usopp.

Then he stopped paying attention to the two giants and turned to his companions.

"I'll head inside first and cause some chaos. I'll draw as many enemies as I can toward myself."

"Where's Robin?" Sanji immediately stood up.

"If my guess is right, she should be in the central building," Jin pointed toward the Judicial Tower. "Even if she's not there, we can at least get some information."

He paused, then continued.

"I'll move ahead and see if I can sneak her out."

As a ninja, direct confrontation was never the first choice.

Infiltration and intelligence gathering were a ninja's true specialties.

If he could use the Transformation Jutsu to slip Nico Robin out, then everything else would become easy.

"Got it," Sanji nodded. "We'll move in that direction."

"Everyone, get on Sodom and Gomorrah!" Zambai shouted.

Running on foot was too slow, and they could be intercepted at any moment.

Using the King Bulls was the fastest way forward—that was why Sodom and Gomorrah had come in the first place.

Seeing everyone begin to move, Jin performed a Body Flicker and vanished from where he stood.

...

"That's quite a commotion."

Standing atop one of the inner island's buildings, Jin calmly observed Luffy fighting below.

To be honest, Luffy alone had already drawn at least a third of the island's forces toward himself.

A bounty of one hundred million Beli truly carried weight.

"Let me help you stir things up a little more," Jin chuckled softly.

He clapped his hands together.

"Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

Poof!

More than ten shadow clones appeared around him, surrounding him completely.

"Go. Attract as many as you can."

"Main body," one clone grinned, "can we kill them?"

"Is that even a question?" Jin bared his teeth. "There's no such thing as holding back against enemies."

The clones laughed, then scattered in all directions.

Moments later, chaos erupted throughout the island.

"BOOM!!"

"Enemy attack!"

"Damn it! I thought there was only Straw Hat—who's that guy smashing buildings with one punch?!"

"No idea! I've never seen his bounty poster!"

"Bastard, who are you?!"

"Who am I?" one clone sneered. "I'm your nightmare!"

"BOOM!!"

"AAAAH!!"

Faced with the clones' attacks, the Marines could do nothing but fire their flintlock rifles in vain.

Wave after wave fell.

Before beings on the level of monsters, ordinary people were nothing more than ants.

Jin merely glanced once before withdrawing his gaze.

With these clones drawing attention across the island, Zoro and the others would have far less pressure.

Then his eyes turned toward the distant Judicial Tower.

"Let's see if Robin is in there."

Whoosh—

With a flash, Jin disappeared.
