"Alpha...." Richard started, horror bleeding through his voice.
"You put your hands on my mate," Kade continued as if Richard hadn't spoken. "You struck her. You humiliated her. You exposed her. And then...." his voice dropped to something even more dangerous, "...you tried to take her from me by force."
"I was bringing my daughter home...."
"She IS home." The Alpha command in Kade's voice sent everyone except Richard and Dakota to their knees. "She's my mate. My Luna. She wears my mark. She belongs here. With me."
Richard's face went from pale to purple with rage. "She's MY daughter....." Who agreed to this? How could they do this without asking?
"She was your daughter," Kade corrected coldly. "You just threw her away. Offered her sister as replacement. Beat her in front of witnesses. You severed that bond yourself, Alpha Winters. You don't get to claim it now."
