Chapter 10 - Kushida Kikyo

Ryunosuke offered another transaction to Honami.

His offer was to help them rise to Class A next month, with the condition of an additional payment of 1,000,000 personal points.

Honami looked somewhat troubled. "Sorry, Akasaka-kun, I can't agree to it."

"The 1,000,000 points we're paying this time is the result of collecting from all 40 people in the class. If we have to pay another 1,000,000 points, the burden will become too great for us."

"Besides, since we already know the information early, the gap shouldn't be too far. Even if we end up below Class A later, the difference won't be much, and we're already satisfied with that."

"I see... What a shame." Ryunosuke muttered while putting on a heartbroken expression.

That was truly sincere pain from the depths of his heart. 1,000,000 points flying away just like that...

Shortly after, Honami and Ryuji prepared to get up and leave.

Right at that moment, Chie gave a good suggestion. "Since it's lunchtime now, let's eat first before leaving."

Everyone didn't mind and planned to leave after eating. Ryunosuke stood up and prepared to leave alone; his goal was already achieved, there was no reason for him to stay.

Seeing Ryunosuke about to leave, Chie immediately called out to him. "Meet me in the office after school, there's something I want to discuss with you."

Ryunosuke instantly stumbled.

(Something else to discuss? I'm so busy today...)

Somewhat resignedly, he agreed to Chie's request then left.

Honami, curious, then asked, "Sensei, why are you telling him to come to the office? Is there an urgent matter you want to discuss?"

Chie smiled mysteriously. "You'll know later. I also don't intend to keep it secret from you. I want to make a transaction with him, buying the 'opportunity' to rise to Class A..."

"Although I don't know if that child is just boasting to me or not."

"But that's enough for me to take the risk of trying."

Chie's expression became very serious, very different from her cheerful personality earlier, but a second later she returned to her original nature and smiled broadly.

"Don't worry, Sensei will bear the cost. Besides, if we really rise to Class A, Sensei's salary will also double, this money will return soon. So don't feel burdened."

Chie waved her hand, signaling Honami not to feel awkward. She was confident she could get that money back.

Honami felt a bit guilty. After all, letting the teacher spend her own money felt inappropriate. Finally she began negotiating with Chie; the student side would bear half. Initially Chie refused, but she couldn't win against Honami's persistence and finally gave up.

"This Honami-chan really, turns out to be stubborn too."

Chie held her cheek while complaining softly, but she really acknowledged how understanding and sweet this child was. Unfortunately, at Advanced Nurturing High School, such things were what were least needed.

Chie felt worried whether this child would be able to survive at this school in the future...

On the other side, Ryunosuke had finished lunch and returned to class. He immediately ran into Kushida who had been waiting for him quite a while.

He immediately stepped on his foot brakes and turned to leave; he didn't want to deal with this troublesome person.

Kushida who had been waiting long immediately brightened up when she saw him come and wanted to greet him. However, when she saw Ryunosuke turn to leave, she discarded her gentle and kind-hearted image, then immediately grabbed Ryunosuke's hand who was about to escape.

"Please wait a moment!"

Seeing his hand gripped, Ryunosuke realized he couldn't run anymore. He turned toward Kushida. "What business do you have, Kushida-san?"

Kushida put on a fragile, cute, and pitiful gaze. If it were an ordinary guy, they might have already knelt under her skirt, but unfortunately Ryunosuke wasn't an ordinary student...

"Is Akasaka-kun avoiding me? Why are you avoiding me? Is there something I did that made you angry?"

Students around began to turn and put on gossip-hungry expressions, thinking this was an unfinished romance drama.

(Tch, this woman... truly a talented actress) However, Ryunosuke answered normally. "Kushida-san, I've said it very clearly. I don't want to be friends with you. How long are you going to keep bothering me?"

Facing such a blunt answer, Kushida was momentarily stunned.

Why was this man so different from the men she had met before? So difficult to conquer. She had already humbled herself, but this man still wasn't satisfied...

Kushida's face slightly darkened. This was the first time she felt her defenses penetrated by a man. Usually anyone would submit to her tricks, but why was this person in front of her immune to infiltration...

However, on the surface, she still acted normal and even looked very hurt, positioning Ryunosuke as the most guilty party.

"Does Akasaka-kun... hate me?" She said sadly while her eyes began to glisten with tears.

This was bad... Her action immediately cornered Ryunosuke. People around began whispering, even blaming him.

"That guy dares to bully Kushida, disgusting." Grumbled the gyaru gang leader, Karuizawa Kei.

Other gyaru girls agreed, even Matsushita Chiaki for the sake of her small group was forced to add a sentence. Although personally, she had seen the entire chronology of events clearly. However, to maintain her formal social relationships, she was forced to say:

"Akasaka is indeed a bit too much... who does he think he is?" However, she didn't say it too harshly and immediately shut her mouth after that.

She just wanted to blend in so her life would be peaceful, similar to Ayanokouji who was an expert at hiding abilities. In short, Chiaki was a "low-spec" version of Ayanokouji.

Even Ayanokouji, who by name was Ryunosuke's only friend, had no intention of defending his friend. He knew very well if he helped speak now, he would definitely be ostracized by the majority of other students... That wasn't beneficial.

Ayanokouji analyzed the situation very clearly and could only mourn inwardly for Ryunosuke.

(Forgive me, I also don't want to be ostracized. I want to be a normal ordinary person...)

Seeing the situation develop in a bad direction, Ryunosuke's face became gloomy. He stared at Kushida who was pretending to be pitiful with a completely impolite tone of speech.

"Kushida-san, how many times do I have to say it? I don't want to know you. Why are you like a plaster that keeps sticking, endlessly? Can't peel off at all."

Kushida froze awkwardly. She didn't expect the other party's words would be that harsh. She hurriedly wanted to defend herself.

"You're mistaken, Akasaka-kun. I just want to be friends with you."

Ryunosuke immediately raised his hand to cut off her words. He looked around, at classmates who were dissatisfied with him, then looked back at Kushida.

"No matter how many times you say it, my answer won't change. I don't want to establish good relations with you. Please don't bother me anymore from now on. You're very annoying."

After saying that, he returned to sit in his chair. Just like Suzune, he was now ostracized by his classmates. But that didn't matter; he didn't intend to have social relations in this class, he just wanted to find money.

Kushida's body froze in place. Even after Ryunosuke sat down, she couldn't react yet. Her eyes became dark and emitted hatred, she cursed heavily in her heart.

(Akasaka Ryunosuke, you disgusting man, just wait for my revenge...)

Shortly after, the lesson bell rang, and everyone returned to their respective seats to start the lesson.
