Chapter 19: Escaping Death and the Light of the Eyes
The Beginning: Collapse and Rescue
Dust, stones, and the smoke of magic covered everywhere. Liva and her mother had vanished into the darkness, but their screams and threats still echoed in the ears of Kaka Diari, Rina, and Rina's father. Rina felt her mind being taken over for a moment, but she started reciting Ayat al-Kursi and slowly came back to herself. Diari held Rina's father with his bloody hands and shouted, "Rina, quick, get out! The cave won't hold; it's collapsing. If we stay here any longer, we will all die. Hurry up!" While still reciting the Holy Quran, Rina held her father's hand, and like a miracle, the white light created from the verses opened a way out for them amidst all the dust and debris.
Diari Protecting Rina's Father
The cave was about to collapse on them, but God had mercy. A very large stone was about to fall on Rina, but Diari threw himself over Rina and her father. The big stone hit Diari's shoulder, and he fainted from the pain. After a long time, Diari regained consciousness. Rina was beside him, crying for him, thinking he was dead. But Diari stood up, gave Rina a tight hug, and wiped away her tears with his hands. Rina kissed Diari out of happiness. Diari looked into Rina's eyes and felt that he loved her; he had fallen in love with her. Rina looked away from Diari and said, "Kaka Diari, we still have a long way to go. We must be strong. Please take care of yourself." Somehow, they reached the outside of the cave. At that exact moment, the entrance of the cave was completely sealed.
The Struggle for Sight (Will Rina's Father Recover?)
When they got outside, Rina went to her father. Her father couldn't see Rina; he was searching for her face with his hands. Rina went into her father's arms crying and hugged him tightly. Rina cried a lot. "Father, it's me, I'm here. Please look at your little girl, Father." Diari said, "Rina, the magic is very deep. Just breaking the chains won't fix your father's eyes. We need that sword which has your father's and mother's names on it." Rina sat in a corner looking very tired and distressed. She was so exhausted she had no energy left, but she thought of her mother and father; she had to give them a good future.
The Secret of the Sword and the Cure
Diari took out the sword and placed his hand on the name of Rina's father. Suddenly, a light appeared. The sword began to move and vanished from Diari's hand. Diari was shocked; this wasn't just a sword but a force. Suddenly, Diari and Rina saw the sword in the hands of Rina's father. Her father placed the sword over his eyes. The whiteness in his eyes slowly faded until they returned to their normal color. Diari was shocked and said, "What??? Rinaaa, do you see how merciful God is?" Rina ran toward her father.
The First Sight After Many Years
Rina's father looked at his daughter for a long time. Rina said in shock, "Father, I love you. I thought you were dead." Her father said in a low voice, "Rina, my daughter, you are just like your mother. You are kind like her, and you look like her, my beautiful girl." That moment was full of tears of joy, but Diari knew that another storm from Liva and her mother was still following them.
