Chapter 22: The Valley of mirros and frozen time

A Hopeless Search and a Great Trap

After the mist kidnapped Rina, Diari and Rina's father searched everywhere for her. They searched a lot but found nothing. Rina's father said, "My son, we must not lose hope. I know we won't. We will find my daughter. It is up to us to try, and up to her to have strength and effort. We must give all our effort, even if we stay here for another thousand years." Diari and the father were searching through the forest like madmen, their breath coming in gasps, their eyes looking only for a sign of Rina. They reached a place called the "Valley of Mirrors." There were thousands of mirrors, all looking identical, arranged in a circle. In one of the mirrors, Diari saw an image of Rina crying. Because he cared for her so much and loved her deeply, he ran toward the mirror without thinking to save her. But as he touched the glass, the ground vanished beneath them. Diari and the father fell into a trap—a very deep pit.

Toxic Memories

Inside the pit, the shadows in the mirrors began to move. They started showing the most unpleasant and painful memories of Diari and the father. Diari saw scenes of being with his mother until she passed away. Rina's father saw scenes of being tortured by Liva and Liva's mother. This was a psychological trap meant to paralyze their minds and destroy their will.

Neither Rescue Nor Sacrifice: Waiting for God's Fate

Liva's mother appeared at the top of the pit like a nightmare. With a demonic laugh, she shouted, "You will not die to be saved, and you cannot escape from under our hands!" She gave a wicked smile. At that moment, she performed another spell—a black magic that stopped time inside the pit. Diari and Rina's father were trapped like living statues. They could neither move nor close their eyes to avoid seeing those painful memories.

Rina in the Prison Cage

In another part of the valley, Rina was imprisoned in a black cage. Liva's mother, like a beast, began to pull the power from the mark on Rina's neck for herself. She drained Rina's strength, but in a way that she wouldn't die—so she would suffer while alive, a living death. Rina fell to the ground inside the cage with eyes full of tears. She looked at Diari and her father, seeing how they had become like statues in the pit. But she couldn't reach them; she could only scream. At that moment, Rina thought of her mother. She thought of her mother's hardships. She wondered, "Will I ever lay my head on my mother's lap again and cry? Will I hug her and smell her hair? Will we ever live like the old days again? I love my mother, I miss her." Rina cried a lot for their pain and for her mother, whom she thought was happy on her journey, but it was the opposite. Rina promised herself: "I must fix everything." Liva and his mother laughed and said, "Oh God, how small-minded you are! You will stay right here." Liva looked at Rina as if she were a fool, placed his hand on her head, and said, "Oh little one, you will stay here forever." Rina remained silent. In her heart, she said, "He who does not understand much talk will not understand silence either." Rina prayed deeply in her heart.
