Chapter 129 - Chapter 129: Dancing in Blood and the Coldness of White Wings

Chapter 129: Dancing in Blood and the Coldness of White Wings

The Silence of Extinction:

The silence that draped over the courtyard was not the peace that follows a storm; it was a silence where the sacred meanings of love and humanity were being strangled. Diari, whose entire being had transformed into rage and vengeance, stood before Lina. Rina, now a peerless angelic queen, stood in the corner with her radiant white wings—like a cold mirror that only reflects events without feeling them.

Diari's Demonic Vengeance: The Destruction of Lina:

Diari's crimson eyes glowed like two furnaces of fire. He no longer wished merely to kill Lina; he wanted to pulverize her physical and spiritual existence. With slow, heavy steps, he moved toward her, each footfall scorching the earth into charcoal.

Diari (with a low, terrifying voice like the sound of death itself): "Lina... did you think death was an escape? No... death is for the innocent. For you, I will create a hell that would make even the devil tremble. You killed my love within Rina's mind; now, I will turn every cell of your body into a scream."

Diari extended his right hand. With a surge of black and crimson power, he seized Lina's legs and hoisted her into the air. Lina shrieked, but with a single gesture, Diari snapped her shoulder bone. The sound of the fracture echoed through the silence like an explosion.

Lina (weeping in agony): "Diari... kill me! Please, end it! Don't let me suffer like this!"

Diari (with a monstrous laugh that was no longer human): "The end? We haven't even begun. For every tear Rina shed in her imagination, you shall weep a thousand times."

With his powerful hands, Diari began to strip Lina's magic from her body—as if flaying the very skin from her soul. Blood splattered everywhere, but Diari continued without mercy. He was tearing Lina apart piece by piece, not with a blade, but with the absolute power born of his madness.

Rina's Coldness: A Heartless Angel:

At that moment, Rina, illuminated by her glowing wings, simply watched. She did not help Lina, for a strange instinct deep within told her this woman was a tyrant who deserved this fate. But Rina did not help Diari either. She did not run to embrace him and say "enough," because to her, Diari was nothing more than a bloody stranger.

Rina (thinking to herself): "This man... why is he so savage? I feel a past connection to him, but I sense no warmth now. He is like a demon dancing in blood. Let him finish; the oppressor must be destroyed."

Rina stood like a silver statue, without shedding a single tear for the immense suffering unfolding before her. Even when Lina's blood splattered onto her white wings, Rina merely wiped it away with a pale hand and stared at a distant horizon.

The Peak of War and Lina's Final Cry:

Diari now had Lina pinned to the ground, his foot heavy upon her throat. His crimson energy was scorching Lina's entire frame.

Diari: "Look at the Queen you tried to sacrifice! Look at how coldly she watches your demise! Lina, you didn't just lose; you became the reason I turned into the monster you see now."

Lina looked at Rina one last time, wanting to beg for help, but Rina only cast a frigid glance and turned her back. In that micro-second, Diari gathered all his power into his palm and slammed it into Lina's forehead. A massive explosion occurred; Lina's body shattered into thousands of black fragments and vanished into the air. Lina was gone forever, but she left behind a wound that would never heal.

Diari and Rina: Two Strangers in One Home:

As the dust and smoke of Lina's remains cleared, Diari stood up exhausted. His body was bathed in blood, and his crimson eyes had dimmed. He looked at Rina, standing a few meters away.

Diari (with a broken voice full of hope): "Rina... it's over. Lina is gone. No one can hurt you anymore. Come... let's go inside, let's soothe our child."

Rina turned around. Her white wings folded, but her silver eyes remained ice-cold.

Rina: "The child? What are you talking about? I only feel that I had a duty and it is done. I thank you for destroying that tyrant, but I cannot come with you. You are terrifying to me. You just killed someone with such brutality. How can I trust a monster?"

Diari (shouting as he moved forward): "I am not a monster! I am Diari! The one who brushed your hair every night! The one who ate breakfast with you yesterday morning! Rina, please... your mind has forgotten, but your heart hasn't! Doesn't your heart beat for me?"

Rina (placing a hand over her heart, speaking coldly): "My heart only beats for the white light within it. I have no feelings for you, bloody man. I am going to the tiny angel on your shoulder, for he smells of me, not of you."

Rina walked silently toward Diari—not to embrace him, but only to take the angel (the baby) from his shoulder into her own arms. When her hand touched Diari's skin, he trembled, but Rina had no reaction, as if she were touching stone.

Diari remained there, in the blood and ash of the courtyard, alone. He had killed Lina, but he had lost Rina forever. He was now the "Blood Guardian," but he had no one left to guard.
