Chapter 130: The Setting of Reason and the Uprising of Silent Hearts

The Atmosphere of Ruin:

The night remained cold; the scent of burning and blood lingered in every corner of the courtyard. Diari, his body riddled with deep wounds from those shadows, sat upon the collapsed wall. His crimson eyes were no longer merely tools of vengeance; they had become two oceans filled with grief. Rina stood on the opposite side of the yard, her white wings slightly folded, yet their radiance still illuminated the surroundings.

The Conflict Between Two Worlds (Diari and Rina):

Diari could no longer remain silent. He rose and walked toward Rina with heavy steps. Every movement sent sharp pain through his frame, but the agony in his heart was far more potent.

Diari (with a hoarse, trembling voice): "Rina... just for one moment, let go of that power and those white wings. Look into my eyes. Do you see nothing? Have all those nights we spent in silence, all those moments your hand was in mine, turned into nothing? How can I believe that the woman who carried a child in her womb doesn't even remember the name of that child's father?"

Rina (turning with a coldness that felt like a death blow to Diari): "Diari... I understand that you are suffering. I see that your eyes are filled with something I do not comprehend. But understand this: my mind is like a blank book. There is no writing in it regarding you. I only know that I am here to be the protector of this child. To me, you are merely someone who assisted me in battle. How can I be in love with someone I do not know?"

Diari (shouting as he moved forward, slamming his hand against the wall beside Rina's head): "But I know you! I know there is a tiny mole beneath your left ear! I know that when you are afraid, you interlace your fingers! I know everything about you, Rina! You are a piece of my soul. You cannot end everything just by saying 'I don't remember'!"

Rina's Lethal Logic:

Without fear, Rina stared into Diari's crimson eyes. She placed a cold, pale hand on his chest, right where his heart was pounding.

Rina: "Your heart beats so fast, Diari. This is not a sign of love; it is a sign of 'ownership.' You want me to be yours simply because I was before. But I am free now. I belong to no one. I am an angel who only knows her duty. If you continue this, I will be forced to distance myself from you. I need a comrade-in-arms, not a man who exhaust my mind with his shouting."

Diari withered as if doused in freezing water. His hands went limp, and his head dropped. Rina's words were more painful than a thousand of Lina's daggers.

Diari (in a broken whisper): "A comrade... fine. If that is what you want, so be it. But know this: I will never give up on you. Even if it takes a thousand years, I will rebuild that love within your heart of stone. Because without you, I am nothing but a meaningless, destructive monster."

Sorrowful Details and a New Duty:

Without replying, Rina walked to the cradle of the angelic infant. The child was glowing, as if aware of the immense pain between its parents. Rina stroked the child with a kindness she did not show to Diari.

Mother Elara watched them from a distance, weeping. She knew this was Diari's greatest trial. Diari retreated to a dark corner of the courtyard, set his sword beside him, and began cleaning the blood from his hands. Every time he touched his wounds, he remembered how Rina had watched him in silence while Lina tortured him.

Diari (thinking to himself): "O God... why did You make love like this? Why give me such a large heart if it was only meant for burning? I destroyed Lina, but now I feel I am the one who is destroyed. Rina is here, she breathes, I see her wings... but she isn't the 'Rina' who loved my child."

Sensing a New Peril:

At that moment, a cold, purple air descended from the sky. A thick mist engulfed the entire house. Diari immediately stood up and gripped his sword. His eyes burned crimson once more.

Diari (shouting): "Rina! Take the child and go inside! Something is coming... something that reeks of ancient death!"

Rina (unfurling her wings and taking flight with white energy): "I am going nowhere, Diari. I am here for war. You watch the ground; I will burn the sky for it."

This was the start of a new phase. Diari and Rina—two lovers who were now merely "two warriors"—had to face a greater darkness together. Diari knew that within every battle, there was a chance for Rina to find "her Diari" once again.
