Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 : Transformation into a giant ape, the transformation of the ancestor of the Saiyans!

"A direct tenfold increase in combat power just by transforming?" Kaido's voice boomed across Onigashima, his eyes narrowing with a mixture of envy and frustration as he watched the projection from the Wanjie Multiverse network. "If I could amplify my strength by ten times in my dragon form, the Marines would have been reduced to ash long ago."

Within the world of One Piece, the "Strongest Creature" couldn't help but feel a sense of imbalance. Why did the Saiyan Great Ape transformation grant such a staggering multiplier, while his own Azure Dragon form—a Mythical Zoan—offered only a marginal, albeit formidable, boost? They both took on the traits of beasts, yet the disparity in raw power scaling was insulting.

"Don't act like you're the only Zoan user here, Kaido," Fleet Admiral Sengoku retorted via the bullet comment section, his tone sharp. "The Marines possess powerhouses of our own. If our Zoan users gained a tenfold power spike, the Great Pirate Era would have ended decades ago."

Whitebeard's deep chuckle soon followed. "Sengoku, don't get ahead of yourself. If your subordinates actually held that kind of power, your seat as Fleet Admiral wouldn't be nearly as stable as it is now, would it? Gura ra ra!"

In the Hidden Leaf Village, Kakashi Hatake leaned against a fence, his gaze fixed on the screen. "Did you all miss what the narrator said? Even before the Great Ape transformation, Vegeta had the power to destroy the Earth. That level of Ki is simply terrifying."

The sentiment echoed across dimensions. Duanmu Yan clenched his fists, muttering, "If I had that kind of power, those Oxen monsters would have been slaughtered instantly!" Welcome sighed in agreement, noting that if the Armor Summoners—Xiao Tian, Xiao Gang, and Xiao Fei—possessed such Ki, the Netherworld Demons wouldn't stand a chance.

However, Lufa, the leader of the Shadow Guards, remained skeptical. "You underestimate us. Do not think we lack the power to lay waste to a planet. But to do so through sheer biological force, without the aid of Cultivation Armor... that Vegeta is indeed a monster. And the scariest part? He can still transform beyond that."

Shinjou, a member of GUTS, added a chilling thought that silenced many: "Remember, as powerful as Vegeta is, he was still mocked by Frieza and the Ginyu Force in the earlier clips. If Vegeta can destroy a world, what kind of monsters are the ones who look down on him? Can they destroy entire solar systems?"

Horii, the scientist of the team, rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "This combat power system is fascinating. Vegeta is at 18,000. I wonder what Tiga's combat power would be on that scale?" Daigo stood nearby, equally curious about how the Light of Tiga measured up against the overwhelming pressure of Saiyan Ki.

Kiryu Sento, the genius physicist, summarized the collective awe. "It seems we've only seen the tip of the iceberg regarding the Dragon Ball World. It's a realm that defies all standard logic."

The narrator's voice returned, grounding the spectators back into the unfolding history of the Saiyans. "Aside from Son Goku's two rampages as a child, only Gohan and Vegeta have tapped into the Great Ape form in recent history. For Gohan, it happened once during his survival training in the wilderness, and again during the desperate climax of the battle against the Prince of Saiyans."

The video surged forward. Vegeta, battered and bloody after being struck by the Spirit Bomb, had plummeted back to Earth. He was broken, his armor shattered and his Ki flickering, yet he remained a lethal threat. Goku and the others were in even worse condition; they were at the end of their ropes.

Just as Vegeta prepared to deliver the finishing blow, he froze. His Scouter-like instincts flared with dread as he spotted a tail regrowing on Gohan's back. The Power Ball he had launched earlier—the artificial moon—was still burning brightly in the sky. If the boy looked up, it was over.

"I have to kill him now!" Vegeta snarled, but his path was blocked by the most unlikely of heroes. Yajirobe leaped from the shadows, his katana flashing as he slashed Vegeta's back. It wasn't a lethal blow, but it provided the crucial distraction Goku needed.

"Gohan! Look at the sky!" Goku's telepathic plea reached his son.

The young half-Saiyan looked up. His pupils dilated, his heart hammered against his ribs, and his body swelled with primal energy. The transformation was instantaneous. A massive, fur-covered beast erupted where the boy had stood, roaring with a force that shook the very foundations of the battlefield.

Unlike his father, who lost all self-awareness in this state, Gohan's Earthling blood allowed him to retain a sliver of consciousness. At Krillin's desperate shout, the Great Ape focused its mountain-shattering rage entirely on Vegeta.

The Prince of Saiyans, once the hunter, was now the prey. He scrambled to evade the massive fists, knowing his only hope was to sever the tail before the artificial moon exhausted its energy. With the last of his strength, Vegeta managed to launch a Destructo Disc-like energy blade, successfully cutting Gohan's tail.

As the giant reverted to human form, the massive body fell directly onto Vegeta, the sheer weight crushing what remained of the Prince's resolve and ribcage. Defeated and humiliated, Vegeta crawled toward his remote, summoning his spherical spaceship.

Krillin approached, Yajirobe's sword trembling in his hand, ready to end the threat forever. But Goku's voice, weak and raspy, stopped him. "Let him go, Krillin... please. I want to fight him again... when I'm stronger."

Despite the deaths of Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu, Krillin honored the wish of the man who had saved the Earth. He lowered the blade. Vegeta, the once-proud conqueror, crawled into his pod and retreated into the dark vacuum of space, leaving the planet in a state of hollow victory.

"The saga of the Great Ape began with Goku and ended with Gohan," the narrator concluded. "While it may pale in comparison to the Super Saiyan transformations that followed, it remains the ancestral root of Saiyan power—a primal force that cannot be ignored."

Lin Luo, the transmigrator behind the video, smiled as the views skyrocketed. He knew that while the Great Ape was the beginning, the multiverse wasn't ready for the golden light that was coming next.
