Chapter 7 - The Older Brother II

(Third Person POV)

[Present Day]

"I guess....." Maki said as she was sitting next to the window, "He was always taking care of us....."

She looked out the window, seeing the noon sky above. She was reminiscing about the days that Kaito would take their Father's beating, all due to either Maki or Mai's antics. Kaito would defend them in such a serious and calm way that would result in their father beating him.

Maki always thought that Kaito was unaffected by the beatings, but later on she came to understand that he simply showed no reaction in order to not scare the girls. She thought of him as spineless, just taking what his father dished out to him. No matter what, he never once stood up for himself, not even speaking back to Ogi.

But slowly, she came to realize that every ounce of abuse he received was to protect his sisters, preventing them from receiving it. The physical abuse never touched the twins, but the verbal abuse and neglect still affected them. Kaito ensured that his father never touched them, even going as far as allowing his father to think he was superior.

As Maki pondered, the sliding doors opened, and her mother walked in, carrying a tray of food and water. She walked to the center and knelt down, setting the tray down.

"Eat, daughter." She said calmly

Maki slowly walked over and sat down cross-legged, "Mother." She said softly, "I have a question."

"I might have an answer." Her mother said, "Depending on the question."

"How come Kaito never defended himself?" Maki asked, "All of our childhood, he simply took Father's abuse without complaints."

Her mother's face hardened and she looked at her, "Now, you ask this?"

Maki nodded, "I have been thinking a lot of about it." She said, "Kaito....."

"My son was born with a strong and durable body. Not just that, he was blessed with two Cursed Techniques and a vast reserve of Cursed Energy to support them." Her mother said, her expression stern, "From the very beginning, he was praised by the entirety of the Zenin clan, even the Clan Head. Even your Father felt proud of him. However, it was you twins that caused Ogi to grow angry and ashamed."

"You say it like it is our fault." Maki said with a frown

"It is not. But your Father does not care about that. The pressures of the Zenin clan's ways got to your Brother." She said, "He knew he had to train hard in order to meet the expectations of the Clan. So he did just that, becoming the Sorcerer he was meant to be."

"And he still took Father's abuse." Maki said

"He let your father do what he wanted to him, as long as he left you girls alone." Her mother continued, "Even when he was scarred by Ogi, he didn't care; so long as he kept you safe. That is Kaito, Maki. You and Mai need to understand that it is who he is. Nobody in the Clan walks over him but your Father, solely for the sake of keeping his beloved sisters safe from his wrath."

Maki clenched her fists, "I didn't ask him to any of that...."

"You don't need to!" Her mother snapped, "You don't need to ask him of anything! That is the burden he bears, Maki. As your older brother, it is his responsibility to ensure that his sisters are safe. Because that is what I taught him, it is what I begged of him to do so. I told him that it didn't matter if you or Mai don't live up to the Clan's expectations, as long as he loves and cares for you...."

She slouched down, holding back tears as she prostrated down in apology.

"M-Mother...." Maki said

"H-He....." Her mother began to sob, "He held his emotions back as a child, becoming unable to display them properly now. All because he didn't want to show weakness to your Father....if you want to hate anyone, don't hate him, Maki. Hate me.....it is my fault."

"Mother." Maki said with a serious expression, "Raise your head."

"That is enough."

*************

Maki was getting better; she was able to walk without wobbling. Her wounds were healing properly due to her strong body, allowing her to take her bandages off. Her entire body was covered in burn scars, caused by her battle against the Disaster Curse known as Jogo.

She was making her way down to her brother's wing in the estate, thinking of what she should say in order to apologize to him. She wanted to speak to Kaito properly and discuss the reason why he is the way he is.

Kaito allows their father to walk over him, or at least he did so. And Maki resented him for it, for she saw a strong older brother who had no flaws, yet was never capable of striking back at the man who fathered them.

As she walked, she noticed that the wing was empty and unusually quiet, safe for distant sounds as she neared the room.

When she reached her brother's door, she heard faint sounds of moaning, which she did not think much of. That was a big mistake of hers.

"Kaito." She slid the door open, "Do you have time to talk-"

She widened her eyes, seeing that her brother had his kimono loose, thrusting into a maid from behind while he held her by the waist. The maid was an older woman, one that Maki recognized from when she was a child, who took care of them.

Kaito didn't notice her, simply kept thrusting his cock into the woman as she was bare naked, her hair was let loose and bounced up and down with every thrust.

"Hnnngh~~" She let out a loud moan

Maki noticed that Naoya was on the side, her legs spread as she fingered herself, licking her lips as she groped her own breasts with her free hand.

"Y-Yess~" Naoya said, blushing fiercely as her tongue was out, "Fuck her~~~"

"Plapplapplapplap!!!"

Kaito was focused on the mission in front of him, swinging his hips at a rapid pace as the woman's ass was rippling with every thrust.

"Hm..." He simply said

Maki was frozen in pure shock, "K-Kaito.....!"

Kaito looked at her, stopping his thrusts, "Maki.....!"

Naoya looked at her cousin, "Oh!" She said with a smirk, "Hey, Maki-chan~~!"

"Enjoying the show~?"
