Chapter 6 - 6 The Secret World

She followed him into the dark room, only illuminated by the moonlight seeping through the cracks of old wooden walls. Every step made the floorboards creak softly, heightening the tension that already filled the air.

The large shadow inside the room was now clearer. It stood tall, nearly covering the entire wall behind it. She felt as if she had stepped into another world – real, yet full of secrets beyond explanation.

"Welcome to a world you never knew existed," he said, his voice soft yet commanding. "Everything you thought about the contract, safety, and a comfortable life – it's all only the surface."

She swallowed, heart pounding. "What does this mean?" she whispered, trying to calm herself.

He smiled faintly. "It means you are now between two worlds. The ordinary world you know, and the secret world hidden from ordinary human sight. The contract is the key to enter here, and you have chosen to use it."

Fear mixed with curiosity surged through her. The shadow before her moved slowly, as if alive. She sensed an aura she could not describe – a mixture of power, secrecy, and a hint of threat.

He looked at her. "If you want the truth, you must be ready to see this world with different eyes. There is no going back to your ordinary life."

She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. Yet every inch of the room made her heart race faster. She knew tonight would mark a turning point in her life.

Suddenly, the shadow moved toward her, slow but deliberate. He extended his hand, ready to protect her. "Do not be afraid. This is the first step for you to understand this world," he said.

She nodded, feeling a mix of fear, curiosity, and excitement. Every step in this world carried risk, but also the promise of secrets she had never encountered.

The shadow opened its eyes, revealing a red glow piercing through the darkness. A voice whispered in her mind: "There is no turning back. This world belongs to those who are brave."
