Chapter 7 - 7 The First Step

She stood in the dark room, heart pounding. The red glow from the mysterious figure's eyes still shone before her. He looked at her calmly, hand extended, ready to guide her.

"This is the first step," he said. "Now you will realize that the world you know is only a fraction of the whole."

She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. Fear mixed with curiosity made her body tremble. But she knew – if she wanted to uncover the truth about the contract and this mysterious man, she had to follow every step.

Step by step, they left the room, walking down dark corridors she had never seen before. Every inch felt foreign, yet stirred a burning curiosity within her. Moonlight from wooden windows highlighted their shadows, creating an almost magical scene.

She asked softly, "What exactly is happening in this world?"

He smiled, but did not answer directly. "You will understand everything later. What matters now is that you are here, and that is enough for a beginning."

They arrived at a large open space, illuminated by soft light from crystals hanging from the ceiling. The air was warm yet filled with a mysterious aura. She felt awe, fear, and excitement all at once.

The shadow moved around her, seemingly assessing her presence. She felt that every step was important, as if each movement would determine her future in this world.

He looked at her. "The basic rule of this world is simple – trust, and you will understand. Doubt, and you may lose your way. This world is nothing like what you imagine."

She nodded slowly, trying to accept the reality. The surroundings were strange but thrilling. Every inch of the room shimmered softly, the crystals reflecting their shadows, making this world feel alive.

Suddenly, from a dark corner, another shadow appeared, smaller but moving quickly. She flinched, stepping back, but he held her hand gently. "Stay calm. This is the first trial. You must focus and trust your steps," he said.

She swallowed, controlling her fear. The small shadow spun through the air, forming a dizzying pattern. Yet something inside told her – she had to face it, not run.

They continued, the shadow following from afar, watching every move. She learned quickly – every step must be deliberate, every decision impacts the journey tonight.

"This is only the beginning," he said, eyes fixed on her. "This world is full of secrets. You will discover more than you expect. But one thing is certain – after this, there is no going back to ordinary life."

Suddenly, a soft whisper came from the dark corner of the open space: "You have entered a world with no easy way out. Are you ready?"

She turned toward the voice, eyes wide, heart racing, feeling adrenaline rush through her veins – her first step into this secret world had just begun.
