Liwu unleashed her bat swiftly and Linlin's gun made an appearance. One of the windows clashed and a drone dove inside. It was armed and turned on the bodyguards.
"Your move." Liwu challenged.
The air was tense, and everyone was still, as if they were frozen in time. But their eyes were working overtime, moving from one end of the room to another and then the drone.
Weijun stepped up first, hoping to break the tension. "I suggest everyone calm down. We already have one dead body on the grounds, we don't need to bury more Dou's today." He was sure that neither Liwu nor Linlin would be harmed if the drone fired.
But he was not so sure about himself!
Liwu sneered, "Send your dogs out Mr. Dou."
"You told me to put the best detectives on it and these are the best." Weijun said. "Let them do their jobs and we can put this behind us."
