Alex(12 years old) and Kinto(12 years old), both D-rank at the time, were sitted together at Alex's living room. The room was bright with lights, as well as a video game playing infront of them. [YOU LOSE!], the game exclaimed. Alex and Kinto exclaimed in dissapointment "Aaah?!". Kinto sighed "What a pain.", Alex responded with dissapointment and a tired tone "I know, right? We've been playing this game since yesterday night and still barely made it to the boss.". Kinto clicked his tongue "Tch! Don't worry about it, it's just a game. We can always beat it.", Alex looked at him sternly "Says the guy who was grinning ear to ear like a mad man when he finally reached the level 15 boss.". The room became quiet, "Alex.", Kinto called the name of his friend. Alex looked at him and responded "Yeah? What's the matter?". Kinto asked "How strong do you think we both would be at the end?", Alex took a moment to think "Hm? I don't know. I mean, if we both keep training and getting stronger, we'd definitely be strong.". Kinto looked at his friend with a straight face before looking forward at the game "I see. You're not the kind of person who thinks too far.", Alex got offended "HEY! WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM?!", Kinto replied with slight annoyance "I didn't mean it like that.", Alex calmed down. Kinto explained "Alex, we live in a world where kids are trained to be killers so they can become powerful adults. We've just survived a mission a few months ago, as well as training and taking smaller missions to get us on track. Both of us, you and me, can die at any point. That's why I'm asking.". Alex layed on the floor and took a moment to think "Well, to be honest, I don't know how strong I'll be. I want to become stronger so I can be a lord one day, and that's always going to be my dream. I also want to make a world where you don't have to get bullied just because you seem weak, Kinto.". Kinto's eyes widened before he smiled softly "Really? Do you really have to bring back that memory?", Alex sat up straight "Well I didn't mean to, I just got caught up in the moment.". Kinto just laughed dryly before looking at Alex with a confident smile, his fists balled for a fist bump "Alright, tell you what. No matter what happens? We'll get stronger. You, me and Baraka. Got it?", Alex paused for a moment before he smiled back and stretched out his hand for a first bump "Yeah. We'll get stronger, no matter what.". Currently, in a world with red skies and dusty red sand, a loud explosion rocked the land. Mountains were immediately being destroyed by an object crashing into them recklessly. As the object landed on the last mountain, it let out a cough "UGHA! UGHU!". The red dust cleared, it turns out that Alex was the one who had crashed into the mountain "Damn! That was painful. Why did I suddenly remember that day? We promised to always get stronger for whatever reasons at the time. And to be honest, we actually kept up that promise.". A side of Alex's head was bleeding, along with the side of his right arm, Alex looked up with a tired smirk. Above him were giant red snakes, all having glowing red eyes and massive maimes on their necks. Not just that, but a lady like being floated above the chaos. She looked mostly human, but her arms were covered with red scales, she had powerful claws and was also wearing a red dress with black markings. Alex stood up, his head faced down "There were originally twelve of them, I killed two of them a few minutes ago. After that, things got really hard.", Alex was breathing heavily, inhaling and exhaling before he raised his head reavaling a wild and excited grin on his face. Alex yelled out "HELL YEAH! THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT IVE BEEN WAITING FOR! LIKE SERIOUSLY, THIS FEELS TO GOOD! TOO GOOD!". Alex stretched his arms backwards "ALRIGHT YOU FUCKING MONSTERS, COME AT ME!", the snakes like woman commanded "Kill him!", all the giant snakes charged down at Alex. Alex picked up a dagger from his pocket "LETS GO!", he yelled before rushing forward at the snakes. The snakes charged relentlessly at Alex, chasing after him while blasting energy beams from their mouths, eyes and even their maims. The snakes were slithering and darting at alarming speeds just to get at him. Explosion ripped through the deserted land as mountain were obliterated within seconds due to the intense blasts of energy. Alex on the other hand was running, dodging and cutting through the attacks as the snakes chased him. He had a deranged smile on his face as he laughed, ran and dribbled through the charging snakes "AHAHAHAHA! THIS ALL YOU HAVE?!'", he taunted with excitement. As he kept moving at the speed of light while weaving and cutting through the chaos, one of the giant snakes appeared right infront of him, an energy beam prepared in its mouth and was shot at him. Alex immediately stretched his hand out to block the attack. The beams split into different parts, causing multiple explosions that cut through the wastelands. Debris and dust were all over the place, the snakes eyes were glowing red while looking around for Alex. In a flash, Alex appeared above one of the snakes and cut it's head off with a powerful slash from his daggers "EEEEEEIUUIE!", the snake screeched in pain as it's head and body dropped dead. Alex also laughed out "YEEAAH! WHO'S THE BIG GUY NOW?!", the snake lady turned to him with her eyes glowing red. Not just that, but she had a very bloodlusted and serious expression, she commanded her snakes again "TEAR HIM APART! EAT HIM ALIIVE!". The remaining giant snakes at her disposal launched at Alex who was still In air, Alex looked at them with little confusion as he thought "Hm? Seems to me you all have gotten more aggressive.", he smirked "Don't worry, I know how to play the game with you.". Alex flashsteped back to the ground before he jumped into the air with a laugh, dissappeared and then appeared right beside one of the other snakes "AAAAAAAAAH!", he yelled with anger, punching the snake's head and brains off with one punch. The snake like lady was stunned and annoyed at the same time "How dare you!", she muttered. Alex was still in the air, the blood of the snake dripping from his knuckles. Alex had a grin of amusement on his face "I don't know why, but this snake girl reminds me of a boss Kinto and I used to fight in a video game. Took us three hours to deal with her, and we only won because we managed to have slightly higher life points than the boss.". His smirk widened a little more "I'll take my aggression out on her!", he thought.
