Chapter 51 - Chapter 51: LAM VS SAFWAN

Chapter 51: LAM VS SAFWAN

The deafening, reverberating roar of tens of billions of spectators cuts through the atmospheric dome of the grand Colosseum on Anipla Planet, causing the planetary bedrock to vibrate with immense tremor waves. The air within the colossal arena still crackles with volatile, high-voltage static electricity, glowing plasma ion arcs, and the sharp, stinging smell of burnt ozone left behind by the apocalyptic display that took place merely an hour ago.

The entire planetary audience, alongside trillions of sentient beings watching across intergalactic broadcast feeds in distant galaxies, remains locked in a state of absolute, paralyzed shock. They have just witnessed an event that defied all laws of cosmic combat: the divine awakening of the primordial cosmic entity known as the G.O.D of Electric, Lightning, and Thunder, which had unexpectedly awakened deep within the soul vessel of Mufasa's fourth son, Asadullah. Though Asadullah himself is not inherently that ancient deity by origin, the divine entity sleeping inside his bloodline woke up, converting his body into an unstoppable engine of cosmic storms. The sheer, reality-shattering scale of Asadullah's awakening left the entire tournament grounds structurally warped, setting a heavy, terrifying atmosphere choked with frantic whispers, desperate betting odds recalculations, and unbridled cosmic anticipation.

Now, high above the arena sands, the massive holographic displays suspended in the center of the firmament flicker wildly. The pale blue lights shift into a deep, luminous violet hue. The mechanical numbers click and spin across thousands of light-years of broadcast relay towers before locking into place with a thundering thud that vibrates through the bones of every spectator:

GROUP 5, MATCH NUMBER 15

The grand arena announcer's voice booms over the planetary loudspeakers, amplified by dimensional sub-space audio projectors that make the words resonate inside the minds of the audience:

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! CREATURES OF ALL REALMS! WE MOVE TO THE NEXT ELECTRIFYING CLASH OF GROUP 5! ON ONE SIDE, WE HAVE THE UNDEFEATED NOBLE PRODIGY OF THE STEIN KINGDOM! ON THE OTHER, THE FIFTH AND FINAL SON OF THE LEGENDARY MUFASA!"

Every single spectator across Anipla Planet leans forward, gripping their seats, holding their breath in complete, dead silence. A singular, burning question echoes in every mind across the cosmos: What kind of unimaginable power does Mufasa's fifth and final son possess?

From the dark, looming archway of the Eastern Gate, a solitary figure slowly steps out onto the scorching golden sands of the arena floor.

It is Lam.

Unlike his previous two tournament matches, where he walked onto the field with an easygoing, almost lazy sense of casual confidence, Lam enters the arena today with a completely transformed demeanor. He is eerily silent, unnervingly calm, and deeply focused. He moves with measured, deliberate, rhythmic steps, his boots pressing shallow impressions into the golden sand. He wears a sleek, dark combat trench coat crafted from high-grade kinetic-absorbent fibers that sway gently with his gait.

Lam understands the immense weight resting on his shoulders. Across the vast, blood-stained sands stands the undefeated top seed of Group 5—an opponent who has dismantled every single challenger in his path with terrifying, brutal efficiency.

As Lam crosses the threshold of the Eastern Gate, a subtle, razor-sharp outline of pale blue holographic light hums continuously around his entire silhouette. He does not rush his entrance. He does not shout to the crowd. He does not flex his physical muscles or unleash a violent, boisterous aura to intimidate the audience. Instead, every single breath he takes is calculated to the exact microsecond. The passive tech energy radiating from his frame is cold, heavy, and absolute—a masterclass in methodical, high-level aura-farming that forcefully commands the undivided attention of every soul in the stadium.

A few hundred meters across the vast field, the heavy obsidian iron doors of the Western Gate grind open with a loud, royal trumpet fanfare. From the deep shadows steps his opponent: Safwan.

Despite being a mere ten-year-old child, Safwan struts onto the field carrying the unbearable, suffocating swagger of ultra-high nobility. Draped in golden-embroidered, silk combat robes bearing the royal sigil of the Stein Kingdom, the young prodigy steps into the blinding sunlight with his head held haughtily in the air. Safwan is not an opponent to be taken lightly on paper; he has completely swept his first two tournament matches in under twenty minutes combined, relying on sheer, unadulterated brute force, endless familial wealth, and the overwhelming prestige of his background.

Flanking Safwan in mid-air, casting a vast, menacing shadow across half the arena floor, is his renowned contracted beast: LESBI-STEIN.

LESBI-STEIN is a terrifying, cybernetically modified, prehistoric Pterodactyl of monstrous proportions, belonging to the legendary -A rank contract tier. The beast possesses an immense wing span exceeding forty meters, covered entirely in thick, obsidian-plated scales that glint with a dark purple sheen under the harsh arena lights. Its talons are forged from refined cosmic titanium, sharp enough to cut through spatial barriers, and its hollow, crimson eyes burn with a ravenous, bloodthirsty desire to tear living flesh from bone. As it hovers above Safwan, the beat of its massive wings kicks up localized sandstorms across the western half of the fighting ring.

High above the sandy arena floor, suspended within the clouds inside the ultra-luxurious, forcefield-protected glass enclosure of the royal VIP box, sits the sovereign hierarchy of the Stein Kingdom.

The King of Stein sits proudly upon a throne of carved crystal, his fingers tapping rhythmically on his armrest, flanked by elite royal guards clad in full plate armor. Beside him sit Safwan's mother, adorned in shimmering diamond-woven gowns that reflect the stadium lights, and Safwan's elder sister, a formidable, cold-eyed warrior who has already achieved fame in her own right. Their collective gaze is locked onto the field below. The royal family knows the massive stakes of this battle better than anyone present. Safwan is not facing a standard regional contestant today; he is standing across from the fifth and last son of Mufasa—the legendary entity quietly known across the divine realms as the G.O.D of Tech.

Down on the sands, the two fighters come to a complete halt fifty meters apart from one another. The atmospheric barrier separating their domains vibrates with intense tension as the official battle horn sounds across the skies!

HOOOOORN!

The match begins instantly, and Lam steps into combat mode with terrifying precision.

Lam stands completely still, his dark trench coat catching the rising wind. He looks across the fifty-meter gap at the young noble boy standing arrogance-personified before him. Lam's eyes narrow slightly as an advanced, high-tech holographic HUD grid flickers silently across his pupils. Pale blue scanning reticles sweep rapidly over Safwan's posture, measuring his skeletal alignment, muscle density, mana flow channels, reaction speeds, and center of gravity in real-time micro-data feeds.

Lam analyzes Safwan silently to himself, evaluating his opponent with cold, detached logic:

Okay, Safwan isn't looking so strong. By the way, he got a good physique for a kid his age, but it isn't that strong although. He relies almost completely on his rich father's political status, his family's bottomless resources, and that oversized cybernetic bird hovering behind him.

Lam slowly tilts his head, scanning the exact spatial coordinates of the terrain surrounding Safwan. His divine tech-mind calculates spatial distance, wind drag, kinetic friction coefficients, and energy displacement down to the exact millimeter.

Okay, Lam thinks to himself, a small, subtle smirk touching the corner of his lips. I think I should place a cannon three meters far from him and put some of the Urja on it, so maybe it's enough to test how much he can handle.

Without wasting a single millisecond, Lam executes his calculation with mechanical perfection.

He raises his left arm, tapping a quick sequence on the glowing metallic combat glove wrapped tightly around his palm. The glove hums with high-frequency resonance as a dense stream of glowing, neon-blue Urja energy surges down his arm. The energy bleeds directly into the ambient spatial dimensions, warping reality exactly three meters to Safwan's right side.

BZZZZZZT!

The air splits open with a sharp, spatial crackle! A massive, heavy dark-titanium tech cannon materializes out of thin air, its heavy reinforced base locking firmly into the golden sands exactly three meters away from Safwan.

CANNON (TECH TYPE) has been summoned!

The heavy weapon's dark barrel immediately hums to life, glowing with an intense, pulsating blue radiance as the infused Urja fills its internal firing core, auto-locking onto the young noble prince instantly.

Lam casually raises his left hand, pointing his index finger straight at Safwan's chest. His thumb clicks down on his glove interface with a sharp, metallic snap.

"FIRE," Lam commands in a calm, icy voice.

BOOOOOOOOOOM!

The CANNON (TECH TYPE) fires with an earth-shattering kinetic blast! A hyper-compressed, glowing shell of pure, high-density kinetic Urja shoots out of the muzzle, crossing the short three-meter distance in less than a microsecond! The sheer atmospheric impact of the high-velocity projectile slams directly into Safwan's defensive space.

The force is intensely overwhelming. The massive kinetic pressure wave sweeps across the arena floor, ripping up hundreds of pounds of golden sand and throwing Safwan violently backward! The ten-year-old noble skids across the hard stone sub-floor for twenty meters, his pristine golden silk robes getting instantly covered in dirt and grime, his styled hair blown wildly back by the concussive pressure. He staggers back to his feet, panting heavily, clutching his chest, his eyes wide with utter shock, panic, and confusion.

Lam remains standing in his original position, his right hand resting casually inside his dark trench coat pocket. He looks at the shaken prince and mocks him openly without a shred of hesitation.

"What's the matter?" Lam calls out, his voice smooth, relaxed, and dripping with supreme disrespect. "Don't you know any moves?"

Safwan grips his bruised chest, tears of frustration, anger, and humiliation welling up in the corners of his eyes. His arrogant royal composure crumbles entirely under the public shame before billions of viewers.

"My... my parents didn't teach me!" Safwan screams back, his childish voice cracking wildly across the quieted stadium.

Lam chuckles softly, shaking his head with an amused, condescending expression. "Your parents didn't teach you? But they gave you a -A tier contract to pet?"

"Shut up! Just shut up!" Safwan yells, completely losing his mind to unbridled rage.

Blind with anger and humiliation, the ten-year-old noble boy abandons all tactical logic and royal training. He charges wildly across the open sand, sprinting straight toward Lam with his small fists clenched, aiming a frantic, full-power physical punch straight at Lam's face!

Lam doesn't even bother taking his right hand out of his trench coat pocket, nor does he raise his guard.

As Safwan's fist lunges forward with all the strength the boy can muster, Lam smoothly sways his upper body backward by a fraction of an inch. The punch slices through empty air, missing entirely. Safwan stumbles forward from his own overcommitted momentum and swings a wild, emotional left hook, but Lam casually tilts his head to the side, letting the fist glide harmlessly past his ear without touching a single strand of hair.

While effortlessly dodging every single frantic, emotional blow from the prince, Lam raises his left hand and gracefully runs his fingers through his hair, flipping his hair back with supreme style, flexing his absolute, total domination over the fight. The entire stadium erupts into massive cheers at the sheer disrespect, flair, and effortless grace of his movement.

With a light, fluid movement, Lam backsteps, gliding a full meter away from the panting, completely exhausted boy.

Now for the next step, Lam thinks to himself.

As he glides backward, Lam swiftly materializes another heavy tech cannon directly behind his own position. He plans to perform a flashy, high-flying jump-shot combo to completely shatter Safwan's remaining spirit.

Lam points behind himself and shouts, "FIRE!" as he leaps high into the air, executing an effortless, perfect backflip over the cannon's sight line to give the weapon a completely clear, direct path toward Safwan!

Safwan looks up, seeing Lam leap gracefully into the sky, and pales in absolute terror. Instinctively, Safwan drops down onto his knees and tightly covers his face with both arms, curling his body into a tight ball to brace for another brutal, bone-shattering kinetic blast!

The entire Colosseum goes completely silent, holding its breath for the explosion.

Gwiuuuuuuun...

A faint, hollow mechanical clicking sound echoes from the back of the cannon, but nothing else happens. No energy beam shoots out. No explosion occurs. No shockwave manifests.

Lam lands back on his feet with a soft thud, staring at the completely silent, dark cannon barrel sitting motionless behind him. He blinks once. Then he slaps his own forehead with his gloved palm in sheer, unadulterated disbelief.

Shit, Lam groans internally, feeling a sudden wave of hilarious, awkward embarrassment wash over him. I forgot to give that cannon Urja!

High in the royal VIP box, the King of Stein tilts his head in utter confusion, while thousands of spectators in the lower stands whisper frantically to one another, wondering if Lam is executing some kind of ultra-advanced, 4D-chess psychological tactic to break the boy's mind.

Safwan slowly opens his arms, peeking out cautiously to see why he hasn't been blasted into dust. He stares at the completely unpowered, inert piece of dark metal sitting harmlessly on the dirt.

Lam quickly clears his throat, recovering his cold, unbothered posture within a fraction of a second. Alright, no problem. I can turn this stupid mistake into the ultimate trap.

Lam formulates a brilliant new plan instantly on the fly.

He raises his glove interface and materializes another CANNON (TECH TYPE)—this time placing it directly in front of Safwan, sitting less than two feet away from the boy's face! Crucially, Lam intentionally leaves this cannon completely uninfused as well, putting zero Urja into its firing core.

Safwan looks up and sees a giant, dark metallic cannon barrel hovering right before his eyes. His heart nearly leaps out of his mouth in sheer horror! He gasps loudly in total panic and covers his face frantically with both hands once again, cowering in complete, shivering terror!

Safwan thinks to himself in utter panic: There's no way! He won't make the same mistake again! This one is definitely going to blow me to pieces!

Safwan is dead wrong.

The cannon sitting in front of his face is nothing more than an unpowered metallic prop—a complete, calculated distraction!

While Safwan sits cowering on the sand with his eyes shut tight, Lam is already moving. He snaps his fingers, raising both arms high toward the sky. His eyes glow with a fierce, blinding golden radiance as his secondary elemental power wakes up from deep within his core!

"DRACO METEOR!" Lam roars, channeling a vast, crushing ocean of Dragon-Type energy straight into the upper clouds!

The sky directly above the Colosseum instantly splits apart, turning a violent, incandescent crimson! Massive, glowing draconic crests manifest across the heavens, spanning hundreds of meters wide. From the torn firmament, dozens of colossal, fiery dragon meteors rain down upon the battlefield—summoning DRACO METEOR (DRAGON TYPE)!

BOOOOM! BOOOOM! BANG! BOOOOM!

The meteors smash into the arena floor with apocalyptic force! The ground violently explodes into geysers of golden fire, tearing through the sand, shattering the stone slabs, and sending massive seismic shockwaves rocking through the stadium foundation! The sheer elemental force of the Dragon-type ultimate move heavily damages Safwan and knocks his contracted beast, LESBI-STEIN, completely out of the sky with concussive pressure!

High above the planet in the orbital broadcast station Colex-5411025, the planetary commentators are going wild. Among them sits the famous, legendary 5-ARMED MAN, who leans all five of his massive, muscular arms over the commentary console, his eyes wide with excitement.

The 5-ARMED MAN grabs three separate broadcasting microphones with three of his hands while gesturing frantically in the air with his other two, his voice booming out across the intergalactic network:

"OHH! LAM IS DOMINATING SAFWAN COMPLETELY!" the 5-Armed Man screams into the mic with pure energy. "The young noble didn't even realize it was a trap! The misfire was turned into a psychological weapon! The distraction was pure genius! Mufasa's fifth son is putting on an absolute masterclass!"

Down on the cratered, burning battlefield, thick dust and intense heat waves drift through the air. Safwan lies flat on his back among the smoking wreckage, his golden robes torn to shreds, his body battered, barely able to lift his head. Beside him, his massive -A rank beast, LESBI-STEIN, lies groaning in pain, its dark wings charred and pinned to the shattered ground.

Lam walks calmly through the falling ash, his dark trench coat swaying gently in the hot wind. He comes to a stop right beside the fallen prince. His face remains completely calm, calculated, and devoid of any fatigue.

He raises his right hand, pointing his open palm straight down toward the center of the smoking crater.

A dense, blinding sphere of superheated thermal energy rapidly gathers at his palm, radiating a temperature so absurdly high that the golden sand beneath it instantly melts into glowing liquid glass.

"FLAME THROWER!" Lam commands, unleashing his ultimate thermal attack—FLAME THROWER (THERMAL TYPE)!

FWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!

A gigantic, catastrophic torrent of superheated thermal flame erupts from Lam's hand! The massive column of dragon-infused thermal fire surges forward, completely swallowing the entire center of the arena ring in a blinding, golden-red inferno!

KA-BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

A massive, earth-shaking explosion rocks the Colosseum! The sheer power of the detonation shatters the remaining floor structures, launching a giant, towering mushroom cloud of pitch-black smoke and burning embers straight into the sky!

The thick, impenetrable wall of heavy smoke rapidly expands, covering the entire fighting stage and completely obscuring everything from view. The camera feeds flicker with heavy static as the broadcast equipment struggles to see through the blackout. The vast, roaring crowd falls into an anxious silence, staring intently at the smoke-filled pit, waiting to see what lies inside.

And deep within that dense, swirling cloud of dark smoke and lingering heat, the fight sits paused, frozen in absolute suspense.
