FROM THE SKY
Chapter 4 – Welcome to Eternal Corruption
The wind howled across the Mountain of Death.
Lux stood alone, his body still marked by wounds, scars glowing faintly where the Outer God's power had healed him. Though his flesh was mended, the pain had not faded—it lingered like a reminder of betrayal.
[Condition: Stable]
[Soul Reinforcement: Active]
[Aether Circulation: Flowing]
Lux closed his eyes and felt the energy inside him.
It was no longer weak.
It was wild.
And waiting.
When he opened his eyes, the fog before him began to move, as if the mountain itself was breathing. Slowly, something enormous emerged—a stone gate taller than a fortress wall. Black metal veins ran across its surface, glowing crimson like a beating heart.
Ancient symbols shifted along the gate.
His seals trembled.
[Seal Resonance Detected]
"This place… feels alive," Lux whispered.
As he stepped forward, the gate shook violently.
A deep, cold voice echoed inside his soul.
WELCOME, CHALLENGER.
DUNGEON: ETERNAL CORRUPTION — TERROR OF DARKNESS
RULE: CLEAR ALL FLOORS TO ESCAPE
REWARD: TREASURE, POWER, AND SOUL ASCENSION
Lux's lips curved upward.
"So it's a prison… and a blessing."
The gate opened.
Darkness swallowed him whole.
Sky Guard Empire – Holy Arena
The massive training arena glowed with holy light.
Runes were carved into the marble floor. Magical circles floated in the air. The summoned heroes stood within a ritual formation.
Alya stood at the center, her long hair flowing softly as light gathered around her.
Roy, the dark magician, stood opposite her, shadows coiling around his staff.
"Begin the resonance chant," commanded the Head Magician.
Roy raised his staff.
"Umbra Noctis… Abyss Call…"
Dark energy rippled outward.
Alya lifted her hands.
"Sacred Light, Answer Me…"
Holy Aether flooded the arena.
Light and darkness clashed, swirling together violently.
The spell was meant to measure their compatibility with divine and demonic forces.
The arena trembled.
Skar and Albert watched in shock.
[Light & Dark Convergence: Detected]
Alya gasped as an overwhelming wave of holy power surged into her body.
[Level Increased]
Level 3 → Level 4 (Master Rank)
Title Gained: Blessed Prodigy
Roy staggered back.
"So strong…"
Alya's heart pounded.
But her thoughts were not in the arena.
They were with Lux.
"Please… be alive…"
Eternal Corruption Dungeon
Lux's boots struck black stone.
The air was thick with corrupted Aether. The walls pulsed, breathing like a living creature. Distant whispers crawled through the darkness.
[Corrupted Aether Density: Extreme]
[Aether Devour: Active]
Lux felt the energy being pulled into his body, feeding his growth.
"So this dungeon is trying to kill me…"
He smiled.
"…and make me stronger."
Skeletons rose from the floor.
Their eyes burned crimson.
[Enemies Detected: Corrupted Undead – Level 2]
Lux stepped forward.
"This is my path."
Brutal Flow activated.
Blood soon followed.
And the dungeon welcomed him.
