FROM THE SKY
Chapter 5 – The Chosen and the Forgotten
The air inside the Eternal Corruption Dungeon felt heavy, as though the walls themselves were breathing.
Lux stood amid a field of shattered bones.
His hands were shaking.
His chest rose and fell violently as blood ran down his arms.
He had fought for hours.
Corrupted beasts.
Undead warriors.
Shadow creatures.
Each battle pushed him closer to death.
Each battle forced more power out of his sealed soul.

[Aether Absorbed]
A final presence emerged.
A towering figure clad in dark, rusted armor.
Blue fire burned in its hollow eyes.
[Elite Enemy: Corrupt Skeleton Knight]
It raised a massive sword and charged.
Lux barely dodged.
The blade tore through the stone floor.
Lux countered with Brutal Flow, striking again and again, but the knight refused to fall.
A crushing blow sent Lux flying.
[Critical Damage]
Blood filled his mouth.
But he rose.
"Not… again…"
He charged, screaming.
One final strike pierced the skull.
The knight collapsed.
A heavy sword fell to the ground.
[Item Obtained: Corrupt Skeleton Knight Sword]
Grade: Cursed – Growth Type
Lux gripped it.
Power flowed into him.
Ahead, a massive black door loomed.
[Dungeon Core Chamber Detected]
He stepped toward it.
Sky Guard Empire – Ceremony Hall
The great hall was filled with nobles, priests, and soldiers.
The heroes stood in the center.
The Emperor spoke.
"Each hero shall be guided by the strongest of this empire."
The Royal Guard Captain stepped forward and placed a hand on Skar's shoulder.
"The Sword Spirit belongs to me. You will become my apprentice."
Skar bowed deeply.
The Head Magician approached Roy.
"Dark magic… You will train under me."
Albert was assigned to the Berserker Corps.
Alya was crowned Holy Maiden.
But one name was missing.
Lux.
"His absence is irrelevant," the Emperor said coldly.
Abyss Depths
Deep beneath the world…
A monstrous eye opened.
A demon smiled.
"Another piece has moved."
"Other demon general eyeing him said now then should they also move as planned"
