Point of View: Genesis
Seven days have passed.
Seven days of preparation. Of making sure everything proceeds flawlessly. Of taking every possible precaution and reviewing every detail with care.
"Elena, is everything ready on your end?" I asked, a trace of concern in my voice.
"Yes, Host. You may rest assured," she replied firmly.
Good…
After giving the planet one final look, I initiated my Ascension.
The process was not complicated. I could clearly observe the stored Origin Energy being consumed, feel my core strengthening—expanding even.
The others were the ones afraid. Not me.
Point of View: King of Rasganorte
Without warning, the ground began to tremble, and the winds grew violent. I heard the roars of my subordinates—they were afraid.
"What is happening?" one demanded.
"Is this an attack?" another answered.
As for me, I was prepared for any threat. I did not speak. I simply observed the strange phenomena unfolding around me.
I could feel the Origin Energy moving far more actively than usual. I knew something was happening, though I did not know what. I merely prepared myself, in case it proved to be a direct threat.
What I did not know was that similar events—perhaps even worse—were occurring across the entire world.
The roars of my subordinates faded into murmurs of fear. The icy wind lashed out more fiercely. The tension in the air was palpable, and for a brief moment, I felt every fiber of my being tighten in anticipation of what was to come.
Point of View: Genesis
This time, I could perceive the progression more clearly.
I felt my power increasing. I felt certain restrictions that once bound me begin to lift.
It was normal.
And that normality reassured me. It gave me confidence.
Some might call me paranoid, but when the universe itself identifies you as a threat and appears intent on eliminating you… you simply want to be prepared for anything that may come.
I have already detected two attacks. I refuse to believe that is merely coincidence.
I cannot fully understand it…
Why am I being targeted?
But that question will have to wait. I cannot seek that answer now.
The process ended.
I could feel my consciousness beginning to drift into slumber. But before I surrendered to the darkness, I saw a familiar screen suddenly appear before me.
"What…?"
Before I could investigate further, I fell into a deep sleep.
Point of View: Elena
He has been asleep for two days now. It is only a matter of time. I know he will be surprised when he sees the changes.
Suddenly, I sensed a slight movement within the core.
"He's awake," I whispered.
When Genesis regained consciousness, his confusion was obvious.
"Elena, what is—?"
He could not finish his sentence. He was in shock.
It was not strange.
He had a human body once more.
"How is this possible, Elena?"
His surprise only deepened when he looked at me. Silence stretched between us—heavy, tense, filled with curiosity.
"Elena… is that really you?"
His voice carried disbelief.
"You are asking something you already know," I replied calmly.
As I watched him shake his head, he asked again,
"And how do you explain having the body of a human woman, Elena?"
"I do not know the reason," I answered softly. "I only know that when I ascended, I acquired this form."
He seemed far more emotional than usual.
"With this body, Elena, I think I can go out and walk the planet. I need some air. I need to clear my mind."
"You may go without worry," I assured him. "I will take care of everything here."
With that, he disappeared.
After a few moments, and once I was certain he was no longer observing, I spoke again.
"You may come out now. He is not watching us."
There was only silence.
I sighed and shook my head.
"I know you are here. Just come out."
"How do you know?"
A child appeared a few meters away—no older than ten.
"Your question is absurd," I replied calmly. "In the beginning, Genesis created only two artificial intelligences, as he calls them."
I gestured toward myself.
"One is me. If I now possess life and a body…" I then pointed at him. "It is logical to assume that you do as well."
He remained silent for a moment before asking,
"Why didn't you tell Genesis about us?"
"Do not misunderstand," I explained. "Genesis has already realized that I am different. But right now, he has something else he must do."
The core suppresses his emotions and implants thoughts focused solely on Ascension. Nothing else mattered to him.
Now he is free from that interference, and he needs time to adapt.
The boy looked at me with concern.
"Do you think he'll be alright?"
"Yes," I answered firmly. "He is no longer human. That body is merely an avatar. He will return soon, and then we can speak calmly."
