Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Beginning, Part 1

Somewhere in the universe, a luminous object was traveling toward an uninhabited planet. As it drew closer, its glow grew more intense. Upon reaching the surface, instead of colliding with the ground, it passed straight through it and continued toward the planet's center. It was a spherical object approximately one hundred meters in diameter.

When it struck, it fused with the core, which began to shine with an unknown intensity. The planet, once sterile and lifeless, started to gain vitality and expand.

After a long time, the process stabilized. The planet became unrecognizable. It now appeared to be a place where life could thrive: seas, lakes, and three enormous continents covered its surface. Each occupied roughly twenty-five to thirty percent of the planet, surrounded by vast oceans.

Across these continents, strange plants and animals flourished, differing within each biome. Yet the most fascinating part was not the surface, but the heart of the planet itself. In its core—once empty and dormant—there now pulsed a clear, radiant light, as if the planet itself were breathing.

At some point, a sound emerged from deep within. It was the voice of a man, disoriented and dizzy.

"Where am I?" the voice said. "What are these visions?"

He was utterly confused. An overwhelming amount of information flooded his mind: images of mountains, animals, plants, and unfamiliar landscapes appeared constantly. At the same time, he perceived countless sounds, which only deepened his confusion.

After many hours, he gradually managed to adapt. Then he understood—and went into shock.

Somehow, he was now a planet.

He could not believe what was happening. Everything he knew about science seemed to fail him; nothing made sense, and it felt more like magic than physics. He wanted to believe this was a dream, that he would wake up soon. But deep down, he knew the truth: this was not a dream. He was already awake… he just could not accept it.

It was absurd.

It was impossible.

And yet, it was real.

With no other choice, he accepted it. After calming himself, he began to observe his surroundings. Somehow, he could see the entire planet within his mind. It made sense—this planet was now his body.

As he continued to process his new existence, he noticed something at the very center of the core. There was an object there: it looked like a gem, golden in color. When he focused on it, he felt an immediate connection, as if they had always been linked. As soon as he thought about it, the gem began to transmit information to him.

It turned out to be a treasure from somewhere beyond this universe.

It was severely damaged. When it entered this universe, the most powerful beings sensed it and fought fiercely over its possession. But the gem was no ordinary treasure—it would not recognize just anyone as its master. During the battle, they tried to force it, but it refused, and as a result, it lost much of its power.

The gem itself had no consciousness and no soul. It functioned like an artificial intelligence, created to merge with a qualified host. During the process, it detected that this host had no physical body—he was only a soul, and one without enough energy to form a body of his own.
