Chapter 152 - Business at the Burrow

The next morning, after breakfast, Alexander picked up his briefcase and headed out.

His destination is the Burrow.

It had been a while since his last visit, and with everything that had happened recently, he figured it was the perfect time to stop by—especially since he had presents to deliver.

Alexander knocked on the crooked wooden door.

To his surprise, it swung open almost instantly.

"Alexander, dear!"

Mrs. Weasley beamed and pulled him into a warm, crushing hug before he could even say hello.

"It's been too long! Everyone's in the back—go on, go play with them."

Alexander smiled. "Okay, Mrs. Weasley."

He stepped inside and made his way toward the backyard.

As soon as he arrived, he paused in surprise.

It wasn't just the Weasley siblings.

Harry and Hermione were there too.

"Well, this is a party," Alexander said with a grin.

They all greeted him warmly.

"After lunch, I'll hand out the presents," he added.

Fred and George immediately cheered—but waved him off.

"Talk later!"

"Gnome crisis!"

Alexander blinked as they ran off chasing garden gnomes.

They spent the late morning playing games, talking, and laughing.

At one point, Alexander drifted into thought while watching everyone.

So it's already almost the end of July…

Time really flew by.

His expression sharpened slightly.

I need to make sure my acting is perfect next month.

After all, the next stage of his plans was approaching fast.

Eventually, Mrs. Weasley called everyone inside.

Lunch was as lively as ever—plates piled high, constant chatter filling the table.

Alexander shared stories from his trip—America, magical creatures, and training.

Then he handed out presents one by one and showed them photos.

Everyone was amazed.

Hermione, of course, had endless questions.

"How big was the habitat?"

"How many species were there?"

"Did you document their behaviors?"

Alexander answered them patiently while laughing.

The twins leaned in at one point.

"Hey… do you think your friend Steve would let us sell some of their inventions?"

"Yeah—we promise to be fair."

Alexander chuckled. "We'll talk later."

After the meal, Fred and George suddenly grabbed him.

"Come with us."

"We've got a cookout later tonight."

"Your parents and Hermione's parents are coming too."

Alexander raised a brow. "And right now?"

"Business."

They dragged him upstairs.

Inside their room, they locked the door.

Then cast both Locking and Silencing Charms.

Alexander blinked.

He had expected a casual conversation, not a secret meeting.

Fred pushed him into a chair at their desk.

George pulled out documents, sketches, and prototypes.

"Our parents want us to work at the Ministry after graduation."

"Like Dad."

"Percy will most likely be joining the ministry as well."

They looked at each other.

Then said together—

"We refuse!"

They slammed a parchment down dramatically.

"Here's our plan."

"We're buying a shop in Diagon Alley."

"Prank items. Joke products. Trick artifacts."

"We've already got ideas."

"We just need your help."

George leaned forward.

"Invest in us, and we'll make a lot of money."

Alexander burst out laughing.

"You guys don't need my money."

They blinked.

"You still have a few years left. We can just make more money before you graduate."

The twins grinned.

"Sounds like a plan."

Alexander nodded.

"But if you're short on funds—I'll pitch in."

The twins slapped the desk.

"Exactly!"

"We knew you wouldn't let us down!"

Alexander smirked.

"Also—I already talked to my friend Steve and my American friends."

They froze.

"They all agreed to send us products. We can sell them once your shop opens."

Silence.

Then the twins erupted.

"A perfect collaboration!"

"US and Europe!"

They cackled like mad scientists already counting profits.

The three of them spent hours drafting ideas:

Product imports

Profit splits

Shop designs

Future expansion

By the time they finished, the sun was already setting.

Downstairs, preparations for the cookout were underway.

But upstairs—

Three future business partners sat around a desk, grinning like masterminds.
