Chapter 154 - Moonlight Secrets

Alexander led Cho upstairs to the twins' room, making sure no one was watching too closely.

Fred and George were still downstairs entertaining the guests, so the room was empty.

He set his briefcase on the floor.

Cho tilted her head.

"You've been carrying that everywhere… what's inside?"

Alexander just smiled.

"Come see."

He clicked the locks open and lifted the lid.

A soft glow spilled out.

They both stepped inside.

Cho immediately gasped.

Even though it was night outside, the world inside the briefcase had its own sky—stars twinkling overhead with a gentle moon hanging low.

Alexander lifted his wand and cast a spell.

The moonlight brightened, bathing everything in a soft silver glow.

"It runs on a day-night cycle," he explained. "But I like the moon brighter."

He led her forward.

First—

A herd of Mooncalves danced in a circle, their large eyes glowing gently as they stomped patterns into the soil.

Cho covered her mouth.

"They're… adorable."

Next—

They passed the chicken coops.

Cho blinked. "You have chickens?"

Alexander laughed. "Long story."

Then—

Dumbo the troll waved happily from his enclosure, letting out a goofy rumble.

Cho froze at first, but seeing Alexander casually wave back eased her nerves.

They moved on.

Fairies fluttered around glowing flowers, their tiny lights like drifting stars.

Cho spun slowly, watching them with childlike wonder.

"This is beautiful…"

Alexander grinned and tossed a handful of galleons nearby.

From the bushes—

Nifflers burst out, scrambling over each other to grab the coins.

Cho laughed.

"They're just like you described!"

Then Alexander led her deeper into the forest.

"Now… this is what I really wanted to show you."

Before she could ask—

Two small shapes galloped toward them.

Silver coats.

Tiny horns.

Cho froze completely.

Baby unicorns stopped right in front of her.

Her eyes widened in shock.

Alexander smiled softly.

"Besides the fairies and the niffler… this is a gift from my friend Nick."

He crossed his arms casually.

"I didn't name them yet. I was waiting for you to do it."

Cho slowly dropped to both knees, still stunned.

She reached out carefully, petting their soft fur.

"I really thought you kidnapped them from the Forbidden Forest…"

Alexander laughed.

"Come on… am I that kind of person?"

She laughed too.

"I haven't named them yet. I was waiting for you to name them," Alexander said.

"Alex... I can name them?" Cho asked.

"That was the plan. If you don't want to, then I will ask someone else," he joked.

"No No I will name them." Cho thought about it for a few minutes.

She pointed gently.

"The boy will be named Cosmo."

She pointed to the other baby.

"You will be called Luna."

Both baby unicorns made happy sounds, nudging her hands.

Alexander smiled.

"Looks like they like the names."

He gestured proudly.

"Come on, Cosmo, Luna—let's show Cho your home."

After playing with them for a while, Alexander led Cho to a quiet hill under the bright moon.

Fairy lights drifted in the distance.

The forest glowed softly.

Cho looked around in awe.

"You built all this…"

Before she could finish—

Alexander leaned in and kissed her under the moonlight.

Time seemed to pause.

Just silver light, drifting fairies, and quiet breathing.

It felt endless—

Until—

"YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED IN HERE!"

Silver's voice shattered the moment.

"GET OUT! YOUNG MASTER DIDN'T PERMIT YOU! STOP—LEAVE NOW!"

Alexander and Cho pulled apart quickly, turning toward the noise.

Fred and George stood near the entrance, hands raised defensively.

"Don't worry—we're his best friends!"

"And business partners!"

"If he didn't want us in, he should've locked the briefcase!"

"We promise not to take anything!"

Before Alexander could respond—

Dumbo roared.

The troll charged at the twins.

They screamed and ran.

Cho burst into laughter, grabbing Alexander's arm as they ran after them.

"DUMBO—it's okay!" Alexander shouted.

"They're friends!"

Dumbo skidded to a stop and tripped over his own feet.

After he stopped tumbling forward, he sat up with a goofy grin.

Alexander walked over and patted him.

"It's okay, buddy. You can go back to sleep."

Dumbo gave a small, happy roar, waved, and lumbered off.

Silver rushed over and knelt immediately.

"Punish me, Young Master. I couldn't stop them. They are your friends—I didn't want to use magic on them."

Alexander shook his head.

"It's okay. No punishment."

"Just go make sure everything's normal."

Silver nodded quickly and ran off.

The twins rushed back.

"You took the troll?!"

"They let you keep it?!"

"Come on—show us everything!"

Before Alexander could answer—

He heard Copper running and yelling,

"Young Master, you have guests! I can't stop them!

That was when he finally heard more footsteps.

He turned, and everyone was entering the briefcase.

His Parents.

Hermione and her parents.

The rest of the Weasley family.

He sighed.

Mr. Chen rubbed his forehead.

"We tried to stop them… but it would be a great experience for the Granger family to see."

He added—

"Everyone promised not to tell anyone."

Mr. Weasley nodded enthusiastically.

"Cross my heart!"

Alexander sighed again—

Then smiled helplessly.

"…Fine."

He gestured forward.

"Welcome to the midnight tour."
