Chapter 155 - Late Night Laughter and Summer Lessons

After the late-night tour, everyone slowly climbed out of the briefcase one by one.

The living room felt strangely small after seeing an entire world hidden inside a briefcase.

Mrs. Weasley quickly set up a late snack spread—pastries, sandwiches, and warm drinks for the adults while the kids grabbed whatever they could reach first.

The room buzzed with excitement.

Everyone kept talking about the magical creatures they had just seen.

Hermione was especially fascinated by the environmental charms.

Her parents were still trying to process how an entire ecosystem could exist inside a briefcase.

But the most stunned of all was Mr. Weasley.

"Baby unicorns…" he muttered for the fifth time, shaking his head in disbelief.

He turned to Alexander with a serious expression.

"You must be extremely careful with them. Unicorns are rare, valuable, and highly sought after. You cannot let just anyone know you have them."

Alexander sighed softly but nodded.

"I understand, Mr. Weasley. I'll be careful."

As the night came to an end, the Chang family prepared to leave.

Alexander had Silver hand over copies of the enchanted photos to Mrs. Chang. Mrs. Chang loved the photos of her and the baby unicorns.

He walked Cho to the door.

"I'll start writing to you, and I'll see you in a few weeks at the train station."

Cho smiled warmly.

"I'll be waiting."

They hugged, and Alexander stole a quick, secret kiss goodbye before stepping back.

Cho rolled her eyes, embarrassed but smiling as she left with her parents.

Behind them, Mrs. Chen spoke with the Grangers.

"Let's meet at Diagon Alley in a few days," she said kindly. "We'll help with the currency exchange before school shopping."

Mr. Granger nodded gratefully.

"Thank you. That would help a lot."

Mrs. Granger said.

"Thank you Alex for the tour. It reminded us how wonderful magic is. I will keep these photos safe."

With final goodbyes exchanged, the night ended, and all families headed home.

The very next morning, Alexander arrived at the Burrow carrying his schoolwork.

He walked into the living room and burst out laughing.

Harry, Ron, and the twins were all sitting there—

Books are still closed.

"You guys didn't even start yet?" Alexander asked.

Harry shrugged helplessly.

"I was locked up for weeks. I couldn't do mine."

Ron leaned back lazily.

"We still have a few weeks. Plenty of time. Let's go have fun."

Alexander shook his head, smiling.

"Homework first. After lunch, we play."

Reluctantly, they agreed.

Well… most of them.

Ron kept getting distracted.

Sometimes he stared out the window.

Sometimes he dozed off.

Every time Fred and George poked him or tested inventions on him.

One invention was inspired by Alexander's earlier joke last summer:

"When someone sleeps, put their hand in warm water—they'll pee their pants."

The twins had engineered a magical device.

According to them, it works eight out of ten times.

They placed Ron's hand into the device and waited.

A few minutes later... Ron jolted awake.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU DID THIS TO ME AGAIN!"

The entire room exploded in laughter as he stormed upstairs to change.

After lunch, they headed outside.

The twins practiced Protego Duo relentlessly.

In the past few weeks, they realized why their Protego Maxima was weaker than Alexander's.

Mastering Protego Duo first was important to learning Protego Maxima.

Having a solid foundation of the Protego spell will increase the strength of their Protego Maxima.

Alexander asked, "Why do you guys want to cast Protego Maxima? Your Protego Duo is already good."

"Because when you cast Protego Maxima," Fred started.

"It looks AWESOME," George finished.

Alexander could only laugh and gave them some tips on layering their Protego.

Ron and Harry dueled nearby.

Alexander walked between them, correcting wand angles, timing, and spell flow.

"Don't force the magic—guide it."

"Harry, your pronunciation is off again."

"Ron, focus. Intent matters."

After fixing their mistakes, he went to help Ginny.

She could already cast Lumos and Nox, but Alexander insisted on strengthening her foundation.

"Control first. Power later."

Ginny listened carefully, determined.

After dinner, Alexander headed home.

As soon as he left—

The twins turned to Ginny with mischievous grins.

"Forget it."

"He's in love with Cho."

"You've got no chance."

"Aim lower."

Ginny's face turned the same shade as her hair.

"SHUT UP!"

She stormed upstairs, slamming her door.

Fred and George burst out laughing—

Then went right back to practicing their shield spells late into the night.
