Albur opened the entrance door of the building. Inside the TV station, there's nothing other than metal scraps and destroyed objects.
"Ok, Albur, where is your office ? " asked Mysty.
"It is on the 5th floor, but we gotta find the elevator to my office. This place is so broken I can't recognize where is it anymore!" said Albur.
"Then let's split up, I will give y'all a walkie talkie, notify all of us if you find the elevator .The walkie talkie gave a tracking system so we can find each other." Johnson gave everyone a walkie talkie.
The gang then split up, each heading to a different direction.
At Mysty's spot, she looked around in the piles of ruins, seeing if the elevator is blocked by them. She later left without finding anything . At Johnson's spot, he also found nothing but ruins, Covie even scanned the whole place and resulted in finding nothing. At Albur's spot however, he found the elevator behind some pile of metal scraps.
"Attention guys, I found the elevator! " said Albur.
"Copy that." said Johnson.
"Alright " said Mysty.
They all gathered at Albur's spot. Albur attempted to activate the elevator, and fortunately, it is working normally.
"Whoo, thank goodness its working properly." said Albur.
"Hold on a second, if this place is damage so badly, why is the elevator able to work properly? " asked Mysty.
"Wait, yeah, now you mentioned it, it is kinda strange. " said Covie.
"Let's not waste any time, we gotta get the cobalt access quickly. " said Johnson.
"Yeah, questions later, let's get going first." said Albur.
"I still think there's something wrong here, I think we should prepare our weapons first." said Mysty, taking out her twin pistols.
Johnson took out his minigun and Albur took out his rifle. When the elevator opened, Albur stepped inside and swiped his card on the elevator. The others then stepped inside the elevator.
Heading to New News, 5th floor.
The elevator started to ascend. During the ascend, no one is talking, only the sound of the elevator is heard. A few seconds later, the elevator door opened. But suddenly, a file tablet flew straight towards them, Albur quickly dodged it. When the gang looked at that direction, they saw a rusted and twitching robot standing there.
"Wait, that's my office's robot secretary!" said Albur.
"Human detected! Sending message to headquarters....." said the robot secretary.
Johnson quickly pull out his minigun and fire at the secretary, destroying it and releasing the glitch inside. Johnson quickly turned the minigun to GK mode and killed that glitch.
"Crap.... that glitch already sent the message to the glitch base!" said Johnson.
"Uh, uh! Language! Shushy shushy!" Covie covered Johnson's mouth.
"Not now, Covie! Next time!" muffled Johnson.
Suddenly, the window glass of the office shattered, many corrupted CIs and glitches came in. Johnson quickly removed Covie's arms.
"Time for battle!" shouted Johnson.
Albur and Mysty quickly fired their weapon at the glitches and the corrupted CIs. Some CI attempted to ambush Albur, but he gave them all a metal pipe treatment. Mysty also fought off the glitches and tased the CIs, letting Albur finish them off with the metal pipe. Johnson also wiped out many glitches using his minigun. And Covie grabbed a CI and smashed it onto the wall. But soon, more and more CI and glitches came into the office.
"We can't waste too much time here! Find the upgrade station!" said Johnson.
"Albur! I will give you my watch, you go find the upgrade station! I will be here helping Johnson out!" said Mysty.
"Ok then.... good luck!" Albur quickly dashed into a room of the office. The glitches tried to chase him, but Johnson and Mysty fought them off.
Albur looked around in the room. He opened every drawer, looked in every corner, but he still couldn't find what seems to be an upgrade station.
"AWWW SNAP, I forgot to ask Johnson about how does the upgrade station looked like!" Albur thought to himself. He quickly think of what may help him find the upgrade station. And suddenly, a Eureka emerged from his head, he remembered Johnson saying that he had never seen Albur in the office when upgrading his access, so maybe its in the restricted area which he was told not to enter. He quickly went to the room where his boss normally kept him and Wilton out. He used his rifle to blast open the door, and as he was expected, he saw a huge machine there, on the machine was a Cobalt color logo and a LED screen. Albur looked around the machine and saw a slot that is seemingly a place to put the smart watch in.
Albur put his and Mysty's watch into the slot and closed the hatch. The LED screen glowed, but an error sign appeared on the screen.
" Error, permission not detected in the requested access upgrade device. Please insert the 3 password keys in order to proceed the access upgrade. " said the upgrade station system.
"Oh you got to be kidding me ! " yelled Albur.
He looked around in the room, hoping to find anything useful. Suddenly, a few CIs busted into the room Albur is in. They pulled out chains and hand cuffs, looking at Albur. Albur pulled out his rifle and blasted one of them, but the reload time of his weapon is way too slow. So he can only fight them using his metal pipe, but his metal pipe broke into pieces after tons of metal pipe treatments.
"AWWW SNAP !" Albur backed away from the CIs. They slowly walk towards Albur.
"You stupid rifle can your reload speed get any slower? " panicked Albur.
The CIs rushed towards Albur. But suddenly, a pair of robot arms grabbed the CIs and smashed them onto the wall. It was Covie.
"Phew, thought I can't save you there! Hehe." laughed Covie.
"Oh, Covie... thanks...." Albur stood up.
"Master sent me to help you cuz he forgot you don't know how to get the access upgrade. " said Covie.
"Yeah, that's what I am having problem with. " said Albur.
"Let's see here..." Covie pressed several buttons on the LED screen.
"A little bit of that..... a little bit of those..... and a little.... Bingo ! " Covie unlocked the permission lock on the upgrade station .
"Woah, how did you do that ? " asked Albur.
"Since we don't have the password keys so the only option we have is letting a Cobalt access guy to unlock the persmisssion lock.
"Covie! We need a little help here !" Johnson's call echoed outside the room.
"Oh geez, master needs help !" Covie flew outside of the room.
"Wait, Covie! How do I get the access?" shouted Albur.
"Just finish the puzzle given and you're all good! " shouted Covie.
Albur looked at the LED screen of the upgrade station. It shows two pictures. Each having differences.
"Oh come on man ! Find the differences now ? " shouted Albur.
He quickly found all of the differences and clicked enter.
The upgrade station begun to glow. Albur and Mysty's watch got eaten by the machine, then spat out again.
" Cobalt Blue, access granted ." Albur and Mysty's watch popped out of the slot.
"Phew, finally!" Albur opened the hatch of the slot and took the two watches. Albur quickly raced out of the room. The rest of the gang are still fighting the CIs and the glitches.
"Guys! I got the access! " yelled Albur.
"Nice work Albur! " said Mysty.
"Let's escape !" Johnson pulled out a smoke bomb.
But suddenly, a glitch bullet flew towards Johnson and detonated that smoke bomb and a gust of wind blew all of the smoke away. The glitches and the CIs looked at that direction. A skull glitch is standing among them.
"Are you kidding me ? A glitch captain ? " yelled Johnson.
"What do you mean by that ? " asked Mysty.
"They may be weaker than general glitches, but they are stronger than normal glitches. They lead tiny squads and are slightly more stronger than normal glitches. " said Johnson.
"Captain! You're finally here! " said one of the glitches.
"Say no more! All squad members into CIs! " the captain glitch brought up several furmiture CI corpses. The exposed glitches quickly dove into the CIs. The captain glitch then gathered all corrupted CIs and merge them into one, becoming an amalgamation of robots. The captain glitch then entered the amalgamation body, controlling it.
"AWWW SNAP....." murmured Albur.
"Oh no..... this is gonna be though..... " trembled Mysty.
"Shoot open that amalgamation ! And destroy the glitches in them. " said Johnson.
The robot amalgamation roared, and took out bunch of cables that seemingly still have electricity on it. Albur fired his rifle at the amalgamation head, while Mysty and Johnson fired at its leg. The amalgamation also fired bolts and screws at them. Covie quickly blocked them using her arms, she fixed the damages after that.
"How are we supposed to damage it when it is so bulky? " asked Mysty.
"I think I could knock its head off and destroy the glitch captain inside. But I need it unfocused. Hey Albur! Is there anything useful around here that you know? " asked Johnson.
"Uh, I, think.... wait, there is one !" Albur threw his rifle to Johnson and ran to the boss room.
"Hey ! Where are you going? " asked Johnson.
"To get something! Buy me some time! " said Albur.
Johnson and Mysty looked at each other, and continued fighting that amalgamation. It saw Albur and attempted to follow him, but Mysty used her taser and stunned it, it then looked at Mysty and knocked her back using its fist. Johnson rapid fired his minigun at it but it also knocked him back using the bolts and screws. Covie healed the two of them but the amalgamation knocked Covie out.
"No! Covie!" Johnson stood up, but the amalgamation grabbed him.
"Finally... this day have come to you! I am about to beat the glitch killing expert! " exclaimed the captain glitch inside the amalgamation.
"Not that easy! " Johnson sliced off its fingers using his robot claws. He tried to enter the amalgamation digital world but the robots merging into it have already broken, making him unable to travel into its digital world. It punched at Johnson, but he managed to grab its fist and push it back .
"Johnson! I'm coming to help!" Mysty took Albur's rifle and fired at the amalgamation .
The amalgamation was furious, it opened all of its gun holes preparing to shoot a huge barrage of bolts and screws.
"Freeeze !" Albur raced back to the battle field. He then threw two pairs of sunglasses to Mysty and Johnson.
"What? What are these for? " asked Mysty.
"Just put.on them and watch what I found do the job!" Albur put on the sunglasses. Johnson and Mysty did the same. Then, Albur took out two old spotlights and activated them. The two old spotlights then emitted a burst of blinding light. The amalgamation was blinded by that light and is groaning in pain.
John ! Go do your job! " said Albur.
"The name's Johnson! " Johnson leaped onto the amalgamation and ripped off its head using his robot claws, the captain glitch was exposed at last and Johnson fired his GK minigun at it, it then fell onto the ground and dissolved. The rest of the parts of the amalgamation then collapsed, Albir and Mysty killed the remaining glitches, making them dissolve.
"Phew ! Nice work team ! " exclaimed Mysty.
"Hey Albur, why do you have blinding spotlights in your office?" asked Johnson.
"These spotlights are already very old, sometimes they are bright as the sun and sometimes they are dim like a shadow." said Albur.
But suddenly the building begun to tremble. Cracks started to crawl over the office.
"Um, what is happening ? " asked Albur.
"Wait, it must be the battle just now was too vigorous ! The building can't hold on anymore! " shouted Johnson.
As they were all expecting, the building collapsed, everyone fell.
"Oh no! Oh geez! AWWW SNAP!" Albur screamed.
Just as they were gonna land on the ground, one robot arm grabbed Johnson and another grabbed Mysty and Albur. They all looked above where was where the arm came from. And they saw Covie grabbing them.
"That is the benefit of being able to fly! Haha! " giggled Covie.
"Oh Covie you cheeky little drone." Johnson sighed.
"Woah, thanks Covie !" said Albur and Mysty.
