Chapter 24 - Chapter 17(Part 7)

Title: Old Revenge

Shinji: Xiong Ba met with Sisu under the pretext of a political matter. As a diplomat, Xiong Ba signed a deal with Sisu, following orders from his nation. But then, he requested Sisu meet him in the old, abandoned area—the village almost destroyed by the previous battle between Seo Jun and Xiong Ba. Sisu immediately understood Xiong Ba's true intention, but he wasn't the type to refuse a challenge.

When they arrived, Xiong Ba unleashed his resentment, insulting Sisu for what had happened years ago. Sisu didn't respond with words. Instead, he unleashed one of his own signature moves. Xiong Ba had no knowledge of this technique. He managed to block the attack partially but was still struck. In that instant, he realized Sisu was far beyond him.

Xiong Ba responded by unleashing a flurry of his strongest techniques. The sheer pressure of the battle forced Sisu to engage cautiously. Their clash shook entire regions, creating multiple forbidden zones across both nations. Civilians, mythic, and even legendary eye wielders dared not approach; the energy alone was overwhelming.

Xiong Ba, cunning as ever, tried to distract Sisu and gain the upper hand. For a moment, it seemed his plan might succeed. But Sisu unleashed "ORIGINAL PULSE", the signature move of the Magenta Eye. Xiong Ba tried to evade, but the attack struck his right arm, obliterating it in an instant.

For the first time in his life, Xiong Ba felt true fear. Sisu had made him confront death itself.

At that moment, Kamisume arrived and immediately used his power to seal both Xiong Ba and Sisu. Neither realized what they had done until Kamisume explained: their clash had erased small parts of three nations from existence. Kamisume's anger was palpable. The battle was finally halted, and Xiong Ba was suspended from his position.

Akaimo: Those three… they're incredible! I wish I could become that strong! But… unfortunately, I don't have any powered eyes…

Shinji: What if I told you there was even a battle between Sisu and Kamisume…

Shino: What?!!? How is that possible? I thought they were friends.

Shinji: They were. But circumstances forced them to fight…

Akaimo: From everything you've said, both of them sound like demons—but in a good way. I can't even imagine the devastation their battle caused…

Shinji: Among all the battles I've mentioned, this one surpasses them all. It was the most intense fight in history… a battle between the absolute strongest versus the absolute strongest.

Akaimo: I can't wait to hear about it!
