Chapter 26 - Recalling Someone

With the power of the star forged within one's body, the massive amount of spirit energy coming out of it alone will be enough for someone to no longer rely on any other thing to cultivate, as for the excess energy that the owner of the stars will fair to refine, it will go and seep through even the smallest parts of the body, eventually tempering one's physical strength even more.

Now that Argus is about to recover after a long time passes, however, there's still no sign of the hallmark of the Nine Stellar Palace Scripture, the stars, or rather, a star, as each one will be refined through the entry of each minor stage within the Body Refining Realm.

'It's time.'

Knowing full well that his body now returns to his peak state, or rather, reaches an entirely different level of strength than before, Argus smiles as he clenches his fist, his eyes still closed as he starts the final and perhaps the most crucial part of cultivating the Nine Stellar Palace Scripture.

Within the pathways of the expanded meridians, the flow of spirit energy within the micro-vessels surrounding its walls seems to further ease the now extremely small conflict between the circulation of both the improved Pure Heaven True Circulation Art and Nine Stellar Palace Scripture, both now working together according to what the master of the body wants.

The circulation within everywhere else in the body starts slowing down, and massive amount of spirit energy, all that he managed to absorb and refine during his short time of cultivation ever since the moment he returned back in time, starts surging upwards, to the lungs, or rather, towards the opposite side of the heart, seemingly just waiting for something there as the young man continues to gather spirit energy from his surrounding as if the massive, sea-like amount he already have inside his meridians isn't nearly enough.

His senses expanded, hungry for a greater amount of spirit energy for his body to consume, a meter, tens, dozens, until it reaches hundreds of meters in radius, the wind starting to pick up strength as spirit energy from the surrounding area starts converging towards himself, creating a powerful funnel all for the sake of feeding the extreme hunger for energy.

It is only days later that the young man will eventually deem the amount of spirit energy within his body to be enough for the process he is attempting, a smile on his face as he squeezes out even the smallest drop of spirit energy to converge on the part of his meridian near the opposite side of his heart.

Taking a deep, long breath, the young man, despite all his experiences in cultivation and oddities alike, couldn't help but still feel a bit nervous as he began the final step, one word coming out of his mouth as he started using his own body, willing his own meridian to do something absurd.

"Condense"

Spirit energy starts its rampage as the flesh and the mystical organ surrounding it start pressing down, seemingly intent on pressing the already perfectly refined and compressed energy even further, a process that shouldn't be possible at all, given the fact that even the compression of spirit energy itself has a limit that cannot be passed.

And yet through the help of Argus' meridians, along with the body refined by the Nine Stellar Palace Scripture, this impossible process appears to become possible for the first time, the already condensed, liquid form of spirit energy starting to condense even further under the extreme pressure pressing from all directions, forcing it smaller and smaller, until it eventually turns into a thick, soup-like state.

Then, some more time later, the soup turns into a goop, before it turns into an even thicker liquid like tar.

At this point, it no longer seems like it couldn't be compressed anymore, as the extremely viscous spirit qi refuses to budge any further.

The creator of the process however, knows full well that he shouldn't stop with this, as not only is this viscous compression of qi is useless, it is also completely destructive to the body as well, acting like some sort of blockage along the path where spirit energy should circulate, like some sort of fat blocking the walls of one's blood that should be circulating through their vessels.

'Now, from the inside.'

With a smile on his face as he knew that this is the final step of the process, the young man muttered something in his mind as he starts circulating both cultivation techniques in full swing once again, the strength pulling spirit energy in the surrounding towards himself causing greater gust to build up, making not only the people in the Draconia Manor, but also the adjacent lands, to wonder just where is such powerful wind coming from.

'It's good enough…'

The viscous spirit energy condensed into a spherical mass inside Argus' body starts shaking violently as the inner part of this liquid core starts being filled by new spirit energy coming from the outside, the viscous liquid that should've been at the limits of its compression already, now starting to heat up from the continuous increase once again.

And as if sand being subjected to extreme temperature, the viscous spirit energy starts adjusting itself, crystals starting to form from the outermost parts of the heavy sphere, making the cultivator smile in celebration as he knows that he already succeeded, and it is only a matter of time before he can truly say that he completely enters a path never treaded by anyone else before him, and perhaps will never be treaded by anyone ever again.

Time passes, and the circulation continues, the continuous absorption of both techniques feeding the spherical mass even further, the crystallization now complete, and thickening as if it is now starting to form a core attached directly to the young man's meridians.

Finally, a perfectly spherical, transparent, and glass-like, yet still malleable structure is formed, deep inside it a swirling gas of qi that appears completely different to the mist-like form it will usually take within an average cultivator's body, as if it is something beyond that, something even more.

And such an assumption will be true as this mist-like spirit energy is the result of the extreme condensing power that is acquired through the creation of this meridian-core, the very object that appears to become the most central part of the young man's special meridians right now.

'Hahaha… a meridian-core… that woman will be surprised if she knows that it is something beyond just the realm of our imagination.'

He thought to himself, as an image of a particular face came to his mind, that maniacal smile, something that he just couldn't help but adore, causing him to clench his fist as he recalls the tragic death that befalls her due to her insistence on protecting him when he was at his weakest.

'This time, I won't allow any danger to come even close to you.'

He mutters to himself as he starts completing the process of his first cultivation, creating the first star, the surging spirit qi in the form of a mysterious mist swirling across the expanse of his meridian-core, forming within it a bright, hot, glowing object that seems to possess an extreme power beyond anyone else can ever fathom.

There's no heavenly melody or great auspicious sights, nor was there any rage from the heavens or warning for the firmament, but right now, at this very moment, the greatest sage, Argus, Xing Yuandao, truly starts walking the path of an absolute.
