Chapter 37 - "Four Kings vs. The World-Eater."

-----

-----

Blue hair whipping wildly in the wind, muscles bulging like slabs of living stone, Toriko stood alone on the barren wasteland. Even through the screen, across countless worlds, you could feel it—that wild, sky-piercing fighting spirit rolling off him like a tidal wave.

Right beside him was Sunny, his long rainbow-colored hair flowing behind him. Compared to Toriko's raw, rugged presence, Sunny looked almost ethereal. His face was so refined it put most women to shame, like some celestial being drifting over water. But anyone who knew him understood—beneath that beautiful exterior was power capable of tearing the heavens apart.

Next came Coco, the Poison King, his head wrapped in a bandana, his aura strangely composed. A peculiar field seemed to surround him, as if suffocating darkness and blazing sunlight had found a perfect balance within his body. Two extremes, fused into something eerily beautiful.

Last to step into frame was Zebra, savage as a beast. His muscles were even more explosive than Toriko's, his bronze skin crisscrossed with scars. Every single mark screamed the same warning: don't mess with this monster. The violent aura pouring off him felt like a demon clawing its way out of hell—enough to make anyone's heart seize in fear.

And yet, at the edge of that world stood something far greater.

A colossal dragon blotted out the sky, its body stretching across the horizon. Compared to it, the Four Heavenly Kings were nothing more than grains of sand.

But the sheer force of their presence rose to meet it head-on.

They didn't give an inch.

As their battle spirits climbed to their peak, an invisible storm erupted around them.

Sand and stone whipped into the air. The sky darkened. A hurricane was born out of nothing.

BOOM—!!!

The four auras stacked together like thunder colliding with volcanic fire, and the earth beneath their feet split apart with a deafening crack.

At the exact instant their power peaked, the four shot forward like arrows loosed from a bow, charging the colossal dragon without hesitation.

"Poison Armor: Venom Overcoat!"

Coco reached up and tore the bandana from his head. Instantly, thick purple-black poison surged out like a living thing, racing down his arms and across his scalp.

Sizzle—

A few stray drops hit the ground. In a heartbeat, solid rock melted away, leaving bottomless holes gouged into the earth. The toxicity was beyond anything common sense could explain.

And yet, in Coco's hands, that nightmare venom was as obedient as a pet.

With a thought, the rampaging poison condensed and wrapped around his body, forming a gleaming suit of liquid purple armor that shimmered with the light of death.

The ground beneath him blackened and rotted under its touch, turning into a dead zone.

"Leg Knife: Explosive Cleave!"

Toriko roared. He raised his right leg high, blue battle energy manifesting around him. An absurdly massive kitchen knife materialized along his lower leg, as if his bone itself had been forged into a divine blade.

He stepped forward and unleashed a kick that felt like it could split the heavens.

A massive blue slash tore through the sky—

RUMBLE!!!

The earth was sliced clean in two along its path, carving a canyon hundreds of meters deep into the wasteland.

But when that mountain-cleaving blade struck the Chaos Dragon's scales, it produced nothing but a shrill metallic screech.

It barely left a shallow white mark.

And within seconds, even that faint scar began to heal.

Toriko's World

"Wait… that's us?!"

Toriko's eyes went wide as he stared at the screen. He instantly recognized himself—along with Sunny, Coco, and Zebra—fighting the dragon.

"But… I don't remember ever battling something like that!"

He frowned at the ancient aura radiating from the dragon onscreen, confusion written all over his face.

"Maybe… it just hasn't happened yet."

Komatsu, small in stature but sharp as a blade, processed things far faster than Toriko ever could. He caught the key detail immediately.

What they were seeing was probably a glimpse of a future battle.

A brutal one.

One Piece World

"Hahahaha! Weird… why does that giant lizard look so… delicious?"

Vice Admiral Garp suddenly felt hungry. In his eyes, the dragon wasn't an enemy.

It was premium-grade ingredients with wings.

"DAMN IT, GARP!" Sengoku exploded. "Can't you think about something other than food during a life-and-death battle like this?!"

"No, listen to me, Sengoku!" Garp insisted seriously. "Those exaggerated muscle fibers, that mysterious substance wrapped around its tail… it all looks like a perfectly prepared top-tier dish!"

Garp's glutton instincts were freakishly sharp.

Without realizing it, he'd hit the truth.

That dragon really was a world-shaking ingredient.

Dragon Ball World

Beerus, God of Destruction, stared at the dragon with drool practically pouring from his mouth.

"Whis! Whis! I want that! Get it for me. Now."

He looked like an oversized cat waiting to be fed.

Whis, however, only sighed.

"Lord Beerus, I can't lock onto the coordinates of that dragon's planet. The dimensional barrier around it is extraordinarily solid. It may not even exist within our universe."

Beerus instantly deflated, collapsing midair like a cat who'd lost all will to live.

"You can't find it? But I really want to eat it…"

The mighty God of Destruction rolled around in the void, sulking. His divine eyes had already seen through the dragon's essence as an ingredient.

But the wall between dimensions was ironclad.

Even Whis couldn't cross it just to snag dinner from another world.

Back on the battlefield—

The dragon's damaged scale regenerated at visible speed. But Toriko's strike had succeeded in one thing.

It made the beast furious.

"ROOOOOAR—!!!"

The roar shattered dimensional barriers. The sound itself became a physical shockwave, reducing the surrounding mountains to rubble in seconds.

The sky cracked. The earth split.

As the dragon rose, the mountain it had been standing on disintegrated under its overwhelming presence. Massive boulders the size of millstones were hurled skyward, then crashed back down, gouging meteor-like craters across the wasteland.

"Regenerating… that fast?!"

Even Toriko watching from afar muttered in shock. He hadn't expected its healing to be that absurd.

Enraged, the dragon locked onto Toriko.

A massive claw, larger than a mountain peak, descended with apocalyptic force.

The gale generated by that claw alone could rip thousand-year-old trees from the earth and fling them into the clouds. Trees snapped like matchsticks under the pressure.

But at the critical moment—

A blur shot in.

Battle Wolf Terry clamped Toriko in his jaws and vanished in a flash, dodging the strike at the last possible second. Had that claw landed directly, even Toriko's monstrous body would've been severely injured.

The claw slammed into the ground.

Mountains shattered.

A fissure hundreds of meters deep tore across the land from the impact point.

But what came next was worse.

The dragon's claw, pressed against the earth, seemed to come alive. Within just a couple of breaths, dozens of square kilometers of forest were swallowed whole.

Erased.

As if eaten.

Seeing that horrifying scene, the Four Heavenly Kings all tightened their brows.

Naruto World

"Oh my God… that's terrifying…"

Sakura trembled, instinctively shrinking closer to Kakashi for even the slightest sense of security.

That attack had devoured an entire forest like it was a snack.

Even Madara's meteor technique had never shaken her this deeply. This wasn't just destructive power—it was something beyond logic.

Not just her. Even seasoned elites like Kakashi were stunned speechless by the dragon's incomprehensible abilities.

But Might Guy? His eyes were burning.

In his view, Toriko's earlier "Leg Knife" was the pinnacle of pure taijutsu.

The power. The explosiveness. The commitment.

That kind of all-in physical strike was exactly the sort of ultimate move Guy lived for. Sure, it required a body like Toriko's—a complete monster.

But with the Eight Gates unleashed?

Guy believed he could reach that level of destructive force, even if only for a moment.

Back in the sky—

Realizing its attack had missed, the dragon felt something it had likely never known before.

Humiliation.

It turned its fury toward Sunny, who hovered midair.

"ROOOOOAR—!!!"

The dragon's howl shook the atmosphere itself.

The thick cloud layer above was ripped apart instantly, as if torn by an invisible hand, vanishing into nothing.
