Season Two
Part Two
Night had fallen, and the light had faded away,
revealing to us...
a power that could never be contained,
never be defeated,
a power that destroys without fear,
and conquers those who were never meant to be conquered.
Amidst the war, which continued to grow more and more intense,
Reinhardt's legs began to tremble, no longer capable of carrying him any further.
Reinhardt: "Perhaps... this is fate."
And yet, his determination and resolve did not waver.
Despite the overwhelming pain, he remained standing before Arliox, refusing to yield.
Arliox: "Why are you doing this to yourself?!
Do you love death that much?!!
Or are you simply a fool who isn't strong enough to protect the people you love?!!"
A moment of silence passed between them.
Reinhardt: "Death is something we unfortunately cannot control, even if we ask for it, you idiot.
And as for insulting me... I'll answer you with my actions, not with pointless words."
Arliox: "Strong words coming from you.
But you don't possess the strength to make them a reality."
Reinhardt: "Then let's see."
Arliox advanced toward Reinhardt and struck him directly in the middle of his stomach.
Even though Reinhardt spat blood from his mouth, he did not move an inch.
Arliox: "So you want to die while standing on your own two feet?!!
You remind me of someone who died exactly like this."
Reinhardt: "Your father, perhaps?"
Silence filled the battlefield.
And while Arliox was lost in his thoughts—
Reinhardt suddenly stabbed him with a dagger that appeared from nothingness.
Reinhardt: "We're in the middle of a battle, you idiot.
This isn't a discussion about your miserable memories with your father."
Arliox: "...!!"
An aura erupted from Arliox, shaking the earth itself.
The moment you felt it, your skin would crawl—
as though your very life were being pulled out of your body.
Arliox: "You damn bastard! Do you even realize what is going to happen to you?!
I'll tear your head straight from your body!"
Reinhardt: "Then I was right about your father."
Arliox struck Reinhardt, sending him flying away.
Reinhardt crashed into a low hill.
Reinhardt, thinking: "Perhaps... I went too far with that one."
Meanwhile, Arliox began creating pillars of Nothingness.
Arliox: "You'll die in the most horrific way possible.
I'll drain the years from your life, and you'll die from blood loss as well."
Reinhardt answered sarcastically.
Reinhardt: "Unfortunately, I'm immortal in terms of age.
That will ruin your gruesome little plan to kill me, you idiot."
Arliox launched the pillars of Nothingness toward Reinhardt.
Arliox: "Who cares? You'll die in agony either way... while watching the person you love being killed."
Reinhardt closed his eyes, accepting the death he could no longer escape.
He thought to himself:
Was this my mistake for changing the future...?
But why me?!
Who is supposed to carry all of these burdens?
Will I really die... and finally find salvation?!
But...
something happened that no one could have expected.
Reinhardt felt something fall onto him.
Something sticky.
Something unpleasant.
Its smell was strangely familiar.
Reinhardt slowly opened his eyes.
And what he saw...
Reinhardt: "....."
He then let out a deafening scream.
Reinhardt: "KAITH! What have you done...?
What have you done?!!!"
The sight before him was—
Kaith, who had taken the pillars with his own body,
had fallen into Reinhardt's arms.
Kaith, sarcastically: "Unfortunately, I never promised you that I would stay alive, old man."
Reinhardt: "Shut up, you bastard! You're not dying today...
You are NOT dying."
Kaith spat out some blood.
Then he smiled.
Kaith: "I don't want you to destroy.
I want you to fix things."
For the first time in many, many years,
Reinhardt began to cry.
Kaith: "I can't believe I'm seeing you cry now, Reinh—"
Kaith's body gradually began to grow colder.
Reinhardt desperately shook his body, hoping he would wake up.
But unfortunately...
Kaith Aztheron had died in the hands of his teacher,
his friend,
and his future self—
Reinhardt.
Reinhardt slowly rose to his feet.
He looked toward the sky.
Then he looked at Arliox.
Reinhardt: "I was wrong to think that returning through time would help him.
I forgot that he was different from me... a boy who had never seen or experienced the suffering I had endured.
I tried to change the future.
And this is the result I got.
I sealed away my own power... and... and changed myself for the sake of this return.
But this is the result of my actions.
A seal I created with my own hands has broken.
That seal was suppressing my power—not because it had reached its limit...
but because I was the one who broke it.
Even if Existence itself comes to kill me...
I'll kill you now, you bastard, Arliox."
Nothingness began to surround Reinhardt completely,
until his features disappeared.
He became something unimaginably dark—
so dark that even darkness itself seemed bright in comparison.
There was no light within him...
except for his eye.
Then Reinhardt appeared again.
But this was not the Reinhardt we knew.
A new Reinhardt had appeared.
Arliox: "So you've finally appeared.
You've become the Son of the Abyss...
Or perhaps I should say...
the Abyss itself, given form."
Reinhardt answered him coldly.
Reinhardt: "I don't care about what you said...
or what you're going to say.
Because you just opened the door to a Hell that will never close for you."
Reinhardt raised his hand and aimed it toward Arliox.
And in a matter of seconds—
Arliox vanished.
We move to a strange place.
Inside a small cabin, the sound of birds chirping could be heard outside.
A peaceful place.
Arliox: "Where am I?!"
Afnan: "Arliox, my son... where have you been all this time?!"
Silence filled the room for several seconds.
Arliox fell to his knees.
He repeated one word:
Arliox: "Father."
Arliox: "I missed you, Father."
Arliox was like a child
who had finally seen his father again after being separated from him.
Afnan: "Don't worry, my son. I'll always be with you..."
Afnan was stabbed through the heart.
And the one responsible was...
Reinhardt.
He looked at Arliox and said:
Reinhardt: "Have you forgotten my words already?!
Welcome...
to your eternal Hell."
After Reinhardt killed Arliox, Existence itself began to crack.
And then—
something appeared.
A white being with golden eyes.
A crown floated above its head, suspended in the air by Cosmic Magic.
It wore completely white clothing.
It was Existence itself.
Existence: "Reinhardt, what are you going to do now?!
You broke the pact we agreed upon, Son of the Abyss."
Reinhardt: "So you've finally appeared, Existence.
You want to know what I'm going to do?
I'll destroy you, you damn treacherous bastard.
Weren't you born from the Abyss yourself?
Or have you forgotten that?"
Existence: "And you think yourself capable of doing that?
And yes... I don't remember things that I do not belong to."
Existence opened portals from across all the universes.
And from them emerged countless versions of Kaith.
Existence: "Then this will be my army."
Existence began laughing at Reinhardt.
But...
all he received in return
was Reinhardt's laughter.
In the blink of an eye,
he erased the entire army.
Reinhardt: "You misunderstood me completely, you fool.
The only Kaith Aztheron I ever cared about was my student...
and my past self.
And unfortunately, he is already dead.
Not that pile of trash you brought here."
Reinhardt looked toward Existence.
He raised his hand and aimed it at him.
But before he could erase him,
Existence offered him something.
Existence: "What do you think about making your student, Kaith, a legend throughout the entire multiverse...
in exchange for my life?"
Reinhardt laughed and answered sarcastically:
Reinhardt: "Unfortunately for you, Kaith never cared about becoming a legend."
Then Reinhardt erased Existence completely.
But after that,
reality itself began to collapse.
Reinhardt: "Is this the end?!
But...
perhaps I can still do something."
Reinhardt opened a portal
to the center of the multiverse,
to the Throne of Existence.
He looked toward the throne.
And then...
he sat upon it.
Reinhardt removed the power of the Abyss,
making it a new source of energy for himself,
filling him with Cosmic Energy.
And at that moment,
he used the Magic of the Universes
to stabilize reality
and prevent it from collapsing.
Then he looked toward the horizon,
toward all living beings,
toward every creature,
toward the past—
back to the moment when he was first born.
But he changed it.
He transported Kaith to a world that did not even contain magic.
He watched him grow.
He watched him build his life.
And he watched him die.
Reinhardt smiled then,
because he had seen Kaith live...
and die...
in complete peace.
After that, he looked toward the horizon once again.
And he saw Alia,
living peacefully as well.
Reinhardt smiled.
Then he closed his eyes.
He knew that he would remain alone.
Maintaining the balance without anyone knowing that he existed.
Without anyone remembering him.
Alone...
beyond the end.
THE END
