Thalia's POV
Now that I have a plan to work on, I need to ensure that I can survive wherever I'll go.
I'm sick and tired of feeling helpless. I need to learn how to survive, one way or another.
So, as midday approaches and Kade hasn't shown up in the chambers, I feel like it's just a matter of time before he does.
After the defiance on the night that I was announced Luna, I knew that it wasn't going to be something that he will drop so soon.
So, I walk out of the chambers and decide to roam the pack.
Hiding away from everyone will only make the people have more reason to talk about me.
Amy offers to accompany me, to which I dismiss her. Despite her numerous efforts to try and convince me that as my maid, she is bound to go with me everywhere.
And I don't hesitate to tell her that she is only inclined to follow me, when I ask her to follow me.
So, I leave her behind and walk out of the castle, with my head held high and attentive to everything and everyone.
