After taking down Zoe's Tower I claimed the Tower Token and teleported back home as I looked over at the things I could make and now one thing was that I could make my own mining sight for my pals to work on instead of waiting for the ore deposits to respawn.
So with the excess materials I had I designated an area for the ore mine to be placed and got to building it with the others at my base coming over to help out before it was finished.
After that I assigned my Mammorest to work on it to harvest ores since they were good at both chopping down trees and mining rocks and ores.
After quickly making a rock/ore chest right next to them I looked at my base before feeling hungry and pulling out several berries to eat to satiate my hunger.
"Man this won't do, I'm getting kind of sick of just eating berries all day…." I muttered to myself as while berries were fine for pals to eat I need something more than that and especially for the bigger pals who eat even more than the others for there size with the amount we are making just barely passing the amount to keep everyone fed for the day.
Until now it's been fine but I need better food to eat, luckily I had found several seeds and had the other farms that could be made available so I decided to go search out the location for a second farm base besides this one that was designated as the mining/main base.
And luckily not far away from my old base their was another location that was a completely flat plane with nothing in the way.
So setting up the PalBox I got to designating areas for the farm areas for berries, wheat, lettuce, tomatoes and potatoes along with an area for ranching certain pals and a breeding farm to breed more pals at that.
Now while I had Chikipi's and Lamballs for getting eggs and wool to make cloth I needed better pals for ranching but I didn't know what pals did that.
So after making the bare minimum while leaving some Leafmunk, Fwack, Pengullet, Cattiva, Chikipi and Lamball's to run the farm/ranch base I teleported over to the small village once again to talk to the Pal Merchant.
"Ahh welcome back! Want to buy more pals?" He asked me.
"Well depends on if you have pals like that in stock, so you know what pals can be used to ranch right?" I ask to which he nods.
"Of course, I'm assuming you have seen and captured some Chikipi and Lamballs in your travels since they are plentiful in this region." He says to which I nodded.
"Well there are others outside that we have Vixy who can somehow find gold or arrows or even random pal spheres for you to collect, those are of the lower quality at that."
"Then there's Cremis who drops more Wool than even Lamball along with Melpaca who drops as much Wool as Cremis, of course their is Mau and Mau Cyst who can dig up gold for you but more than Vixy ever can."
"Mozzarina is a cow pal that produces milk, Woolipop who makes cotton candy, Drumud who secretes High Quality Pal Oil along with Capritity who grows a berry bush on their backs making berries without needing a farm."
"There is of course Beegarde who produces Honey, Flambelle makes flame organs, Kelpsea makes Pal Fluids and Sibelyx who makes High Quality Cloth, there are others but they can only be found on Feybreak and it's dangerous to go there now adays but most of the Pals you'd need for ranching can be found here on the main islands anyway." He said finishing his explanation of the main ranching pals one could find.
"Do you have any of them for sale, specifically any only newborn pals?" I ask because a lvl. 1 pal is much cheaper than a lvl 10 pal or higher.
"Of course! I have plenty low level pals in stock, take your pick." Luckily this guy wasn't the type that only smelled high leveled pals that cost an arm and a leg to get.
As after beating Zoe I found a chest at the top of the tower that gave me 10,000 gold for beating her and that's basically all I have for now.
So after looking it over with what I had I bought 2 Mozzarina, a Beegarde a Dumud and a Melpaca for the ranch which made me basically broke but besides buying things I can't readily get myself the only use for gold is to get pals and buying bulk quantities of certain items.
With all that said and done I went back to the ranch before letting my pals loose into the ranch, soon enough I would have a steady supply of milk, wool and honey coming into the ranch.
My bases were beginning to be properly automated, the ranch produces supply's to make better food, I set up wood and ore production at the other base on top of having an area for pals to go out on adventures to dungeons to get me more loot as well, I even had hot baths that pals could go into too relax at that.
As while pals will work they need to eat and also relax or else they will end up getting exhausted and angry not willing to work at all.
But with this all set I needed to set my eyes on the next Tower to deal with, Lily who was the leader of the Free PAL Alliance and take her down.
But I don't think just my pistol will be enough, I'm going to need to do more leveling up and that means I need to fight and defeat more pals at that.
On top of that now it seems if I want to face more of the Tower Bosses I will have to go out and capture/defeat wild Alpha Pals nearby the locations where the towers can be found.
It seems like it's going to be awhile before I can beat all the towers not to mention going to Feybreak Island.
But I have heard of a Wildlife reserve not far off shore from the island I landed on, maybe their I could find myself some stronger and better pals to tame for myself at that.
So that's my plan, next stop the Wildlife Reserve to capture myself some powerful Pals.
