Chapter 95 - Chapter 95 — The Seal of Light

Twilight draped the northern ruins in soft silver and gold, the Blood Moon glowing faintly above. The remnants of the previous battle still smoldered, but the forest was alive with anticipation.

Nyra stood at the heart of the ruins, silver aura blazing. Her hands traced the partially broken containment seal, ancestral energy flowing through her veins. Kael's golden Alpha energy shimmered alongside her, a living counterbalance to her Blood Moon power.

Fenrir and the Ashfang warriors flanked the perimeter, ready for any remaining threats. Shadowfang's elite wolves had formed a protective circle, eyes alert, claws poised.

"This seal is our only chance," Nyra said, voice calm but resolute. "If fully restored, it will bind the shadow forces, neutralize the energy, and prevent another assault. But it requires precision, strength, and focus. One misstep… and it could backfire."

Kael nodded. "We synchronize. I channel Alpha energy through your lunar chains. Together, we stabilize the seal. Shadowfang watches your back."

As Nyra began weaving silver energy into the sigils, the air trembled. Shadows stirred around the ruins, remnants of the leader and its army, drawn to the power being restored. Hissing and flickering, they lunged toward the pack in waves.

"Hold them off!" Nyra shouted. Wolves surged into action, using flanks, traps, and coordinated strikes to keep the shadows at bay. Fenrir's warriors cut off reinforcements, while Kael's flames incinerated attackers who threatened Nyra's focus.

The seal pulsed with energy, silver chains extending like veins through the ruins. Nyra channeled ancestral power, each glyph lighting up with the brilliance of the Blood Moon. The shadows shrieked, recoiling from the energy, but pressed relentlessly, sensing their guardian was weakened.

Minutes felt like hours. Nyra's vision blurred from strain, but Kael's golden energy steadied her, connecting Alpha and Blood Moon power into a single, unbreakable current.

"Almost… there…" she whispered, final chains of lunar energy snapping into place. A burst of silver light exploded across the ruins, sweeping away the remaining shadow creatures.

The seal stabilized. The energy of the ruins shifted, calm and steady, the corruption neutralized. The shadows that lingered had been bound or banished, their threat contained… at least for now.

Kael exhaled, flames dimming. "We did it. Shadowfang endures."

Nyra collapsed to her knees, silver aura slowly fading. "Yes… but this is only a temporary reprieve. Forces older than the Moon itself still stir. The shadow leader may be gone, but the source of its power remains. Shadowfang must remain vigilant."

Fenrir stepped forward, respect in his eyes. "Your pack, your leadership, your power… it is remarkable. The Blood Moon's prophecy may have chosen its heirs wisely."

Nyra rose, silver eyes locking on the Blood Moon above. "We've won a battle, not the war. Shadowfang survives because we fight together, because we learn, and because we do not fear the darkness. But the night ahead is long, and the shadows are patient."

The pack howled in unison, the sound echoing across the forest — a vow of unity, strength, and defiance. Shadowfang had secured the ruins and the seal, but the echoes of the First Blood Moon hinted at challenges far greater than any they had yet faced.
