Chapter 20 - 20: Heading to Heaven Dou

"I'm back! I'm really back! This... this familiar aura!"

The giant silver eye, which had been striving to maintain a proud and profound posture, trembled violently in its soul after sensing that familiar power of heaven and earth from 10,000 years later. This torrent of thoughts, a mix of ecstasy and disbelief, erupted in its heart like a geyser!

It wasn't until this moment, when it truly returned to its familiar world 10,000 years later, that this Evil Eye Spirit Soul now called "Little Silver" truly believed that Huo Yuhao possessed the ability to travel freely between two time-spaces separated by 10,000 years! This was no hallucination, no dream; this was transmigration that overturned its understanding of time and space!

At this moment, in Little Silver's giant silver-white eye, Huo Yuhao had become a walking miracle, a living legend, and the only light carrying all its hopes and ambitions! It could hardly contain itself, wanting to immediately express its excitement and submission to Huo Yuhao with the most flattering and loyal attitude. But it ultimately restrained itself; after all, they had just transmigrated back, and Huo Yuhao seemed to have serious business to attend to.

Huo Yuhao made his way familiarly to Leng Yaozhu's office area. She was sitting on a sofa, holding a file, but her gaze turned warmly toward Huo Yuhao as he suddenly appeared in the room. Huo Yuhao composed himself and walked quickly to Leng Yaozhu.

"Aunt Leng, I'm back."

Just a few simple words, but in this world, only Leng Yaozhu understood their true meaning.

"According to plan, my mother and I have successfully left the White Tiger Duke's Mansion. And from the moment we left, I officially took my mother's surname. From now on, my name is... Huo Yuhao."

"Huo Yuhao..." Leng Yaozhu repeated softly, the corners of her mouth curling up slightly. "Congratulations, Yuhao," she said warmly. "You have done something truly remarkable. This not only means you've broken free from the shackles of the past, but more importantly... you have likely changed your mother's fate."

According to the incomplete records of the First Generation Pagoda Master's life kept by the Spirit Pagoda, and the research of later historians, Spirit Ice Douluo Huo Yuhao's mother seemed to have passed away early during his childhood. Furthermore, there was a high probability it happened during their time at the White Tiger Duke's Mansion. This was what Leng Yaozhu had told Huo Yuhao before, which was why he was so determined to take his mother away from the Duke's Mansion as soon as possible.

Since the original trajectory of fate had changed, his mother Huo Yuner's fate of an early death would naturally likely be broken as well. Deep gratitude showed in Huo Yuhao's eyes. If Leng Yaozhu hadn't told him this, his mother might have left him forever in a few years. He would keep this kindness engraved in his heart.

He immediately focused his mind, looked at Leng Yaozhu, and asked, "Aunt Leng, you mentioned looking for a suitable forging teacher for me... is there any news?"

Since he had decided to "swing the heavy hammer" in both worlds, his professional studies 10,000 years later had to be put on the agenda as soon as possible. Moreover, Huo Yuhao discovered a phenomenon that was extremely beneficial to him. He traveled between two time-spaces, but his physical age was only calculated according to the time of one world. This meant he had twice as much time as anyone else! There was no need to worry that learning a side profession would delay his spirit power cultivate; instead, they could progress together and complement each other.

Hearing this, a mysterious smile appeared on Leng Yaozhu's face, as if she had expected him to ask. She nodded slightly. "Indeed, a person has been found." She paused, looking at Huo Yuhao's eyes which lit up instantly, but then her tone shifted slightly, a hint of playfulness in her smile. "However, whether you can get them to nod and agree to take you as a disciple and teach you the art of forging... that will depend on your own ability."

Hearing this, Huo Yuhao knew that the other party's identity and level were definitely extraordinary. Perhaps they were at least a rank 8 Saint Crafter level blacksmith? His heart couldn't help but burn with excitement, and a strong sense of curiosity rose as he asked, "Aunt Leng, which Saint Crafter is it?"

Leng Yaozhu smiled but still didn't tell him directly, saying instead, "As for that question, go ask your other teacher."

Huo Yuhao thought to himself: "My other teacher? Elder Han?"

The rooftop terrace of the Spirit Pagoda Headquarters was rarely visited on ordinary days. At this moment, Huo Yuhao stood at the edge of the terrace, the strong wind like an invisible giant hand blowing his soft black hair back in a messy dance. But he seemed oblivious, his Spirit Eyes wide open, all his attention completely drawn to the towering behemoth before him!

It was a humanoid mecha standing a full 10 meters tall! Its entire body was a deep, dazzling red, as if forged from solidified flame and lava, reflecting a cold metallic luster in the sunlight. The mecha's lines were sleek, the chest armor thick, its limbs long and vigorous, and it seemed to be equipped with some kind of propulsion device on its back. On that red metallic shell, countless complex and profound gold and silver patterns were densely packed. They glowed slightly like living things; just staring at these patterns gave one a dizzying sensation!

Clearly, this was a red-rank mecha! In the world 10,000 years later, mechas were also divided into several ranks from low to high: White, Yellow, Purple, Black, and Red. Red-rank mechas were top-tier mechas standing at the peak of the continent, usually only owned and piloted by powerhouses at the Titled Douluo level. As a boy, he had a natural, irresistible love and yearning for such an ultimate mechanical creation that integrated power, technology, and beauty.

Huo Yuhao felt his heart skip a beat involuntarily, his blood seemed to be boiling slightly, and an indescribable excitement and shock filled his heart. He with difficulty moved his gaze away from the red mecha, turned his head to look at his teacher Han Tianyi beside him, his voice trembling slightly.

"Teacher, is this... your mecha?!"

A faint smile appeared on Han Tianyi's face. He nodded slightly, his voice reaching Huo Yuhao's ears clearly amidst the whistling wind. "Indeed, this is my red-rank mecha, named Phantom. We will take it to Heaven Dou City!"

At the thought of entering the interior of this red-rank mecha, Huo Yuhao felt an irrepressible excitement surge from his heart, his small face turning slightly red with exhilaration. In the very center of the red mecha's chest, those complex patterns flashed, and a hatch slid open silently!

"Let's go."

Han Tianyi's voice rang out again. Before his voice had even faded, Huo Yuhao felt a gentle spirit power envelop him, and his body was lifted as if by an invisible giant hand, flying steadily toward the open cockpit! Within a few breaths, he had passed through the hatch and landed inside the mecha.

The space inside the cockpit was much more spacious than it appeared from the outside, not as cramped as imagined. Directly in front was a large, curved transparent viewport, through which the outside scenery could be clearly seen. Below the viewport was a complex control console covered with buttons and joysticks. On both sides were several soul tool screens of various sizes, displaying all sorts of data and images that Huo Yuhao could not understand.

Huo Yuhao was placed in the co-pilot's seat. He looked around curiously, touching the cold and exquisite control panels.

"Sit tight."

Han Tianyi's voice came from the main pilot's seat beside him. He sat in the main control position and skillfully started the mecha. The next second, with a soft hiss, the hatch closed tightly, completely isolating them from the gale and noise outside. A low engine roar came faintly through the cabin walls, and the entire interior of the mecha seemed to vibrate slightly. Immediately after, Huo Yuhao felt a powerful surge of acceleration, his body involuntarily pressed against the back of the seat!

Through the huge viewport in front, he saw the scenery outside beginning to fall rapidly; the mecha was soaring into the sky!

"Boom!!!"

A deafening sonic boom suddenly exploded outside. The red Phantom mecha, like a crimson meteor tearing through the sky, instantly broke the sound barrier at a terrifying speed invisible to the naked eye, streaking toward the northern horizon!
