Chapter 52 - Chapter 52: Three Major Seas in Rebellion? East Sea Remains Most Peaceful, Yet Spawns Two Pirate Kings!

"Fleet Admiral Kong, don't blame Sengoku. This was something no one could have predicted."

"The urgent matter now is determining how to clean up the mess left by this great battle."

Seeing Sengoku's distress, Garp laughed heartily and deliberately lightened the mood, steering the conversation elsewhere.

Compared to Sengoku, Garp was in much better condition.

Only a scar was visible on his arm, with no bandages in sight.

As the toughest man among the current Navy's top three, Garp's physical condition was excellent.

He had sustained minor injuries in the previous battle, but they weren't serious.

Several days after returning to headquarters, Sengoku remained in this state.

While everything else was normal, whenever Beast Brian was mentioned, he became easily agitated.

He even showed signs of emotional instability.

Navy doctors had examined him but ultimately shook their heads.

They said it was a psychological issue that only Sengoku could overcome himself, with no other solution.

"That's right, Fleet Admiral Kong."

"Pirates, mafia, and bounty hunters are currently causing unrest across the Four Seas and the first half of the Grand Line. It's quite troublesome."

Zephyr, sitting on the other side of Sengoku, also reported to Kong.

He reached out and patted Sengoku's shoulder in comfort.

Zephyr's physical condition was similar to Sengoku's.

However, unlike Sengoku, he hadn't accumulated serious injuries from previous battles.

So only his arms were wrapped in some bandages, with no other visible injuries.

"Fleet Admiral Kong, I've received the latest intelligence from these regions. Please take a look."

Further aside, Tsuru also changed the subject, handing the latest intelligence reports to Kong.

Her peripheral glance at Sengoku revealed a flicker of concern.

As longtime comrades, Tsuru held Sengoku in high regard.

She had always known about Sengoku's feelings.

But unfortunately, she could never develop romantic feelings for him.

She only ever saw Sengoku as a friend and family member.

Tsuru's ideal type remained the seemingly carefree Garp beside them.

Oh~

Poor Sengoku, unsuccessful in love.

Now his career was also suffering due to the influence of Brian and the Rocks Pirates.

With neither career nor love going well, and burdened with injuries that would take months to heal.

What a miserable man!

Bam~

"Is the Capone Family trying to rebel? They actually joined forces with other families to annex the Gambino Family."

"And the Bounty Hunter Guild - they're still fighting, throwing the entire South Sea into chaos."

"The North Sea is no better, with pirates rebelling. Even the Germa Family is joining the rebellion."

"Only the East Sea is slightly better. These bastards all deserve to die."

After reading the latest intelligence, Kong grew even angrier.

He slammed his fist heavily on the table before him, nearly destroying another one.

Thanks to this wave of intelligence, he truly set aside Sengoku's failure.

Kong's only thought now was:

The other three seas besides the East Sea were all preparing to rebel.

As mentioned earlier, after the Fiore Sea Battle ended, the Capone Family had sensed the great opportunity presented by the Navy's defeat.

Taking advantage of the Navy's weakened forces in the West Blue, they launched an assault on the Gambino Family.

While the other three major families remained completely unresponsive.

The Capone Family swept through like a storm, launching fierce attacks from multiple directions.

Within just one week, the Gambino Family's headquarters had been completely devoured by the four major families, and every single member from top to bottom was eliminated.

The Gambino Family, a centuries-old established organization, was completely eradicated.

Through this annexation, the Capone Family skyrocketed to become the largest mafia family in the West Blue—unrivaled.

The conflict initiated by the Capone Family prompted the other three major families to follow suit, plunging the West Blue into further chaos. Even Navy intervention proved futile.

Member nations of the World Government in the West Blue bombarded the World Government with complaints until their phone lines were worn out.

Ultimately, the pressure fell upon Kong.

Some of the intelligence Tsuru presented included reprimands from the World Government, demanding that the Navy swiftly restore order in the West Blue and silence those kings.

A similar situation unfolded in the South Blue.

Much like the Capone Family, after the Fiore Sea Battle, the Cross Hunter Guild in the South Blue grew restless.

They suddenly erupted, launching a fierce assault on another guild.

Within three days, the Cross Hunter Guild's leader had taken the head of the opposing guild's leader.

They swiftly unified the bounty hunter guilds across the South Blue.

Within just a few days, they extended their reach to the other three seas and even into the Grand Line.

Their rapid expansion led these bounty hunters to act with increasing recklessness.

In the South Blue, they mercilessly slaughtered pirates and even targeted civilians.

After killing, they would label their victims as pirates in an attempt to deceive the Navy.

The Navy, of course, was not fooled, leading to numerous clashes with the bounty hunter guilds.

However, the Cross Hunter Guild's leader was shrewd, directly offering the World Government vast amounts of gold and treasures.

As a result, during conflicts, the World Government not only failed to side with the Navy but even issued a formal statement criticizing the Navy for clashing with the Cross Hunter Guild.

They claimed it was undermining unity and disrupting the overall stability of the South Blue.

Reading the South Blue intelligence infuriated Kong even more.

"Undermining unity, my ass."

"These old fools are addicted to throwing their weight around. Damn them all to hell."

If not for these old-timers clinging to key positions within the World Government and hiding away in Mary Geoise, Kong would have considered arranging for their discreet elimination.

"Bastards, every last one of them!"

If the West Blue and South Blue were in such states, the North Blue was even more unspeakable.

The North Blue had the highest number of pirates, along with the unstable factor of the Germa Kingdom.

As a member nation of the World Government, the Germa Kingdom was an exception in the North Blue.

Unlike other member nations, they primarily operated in the black market.

They frequently traded with pirates, making them a highly destabilizing force in the North Blue.

Weapons, medicine, food—whatever they had, they would sell.

Most outrageously, they mainly supplied pirates, enabling them to attack the Navy.

It was only because the Navy had previously suppressed them that they exercised some restraint.

After the Navy's defeat in the Fiore Sea Battle, the Germa Kingdom seized the opportunity to incite unrest.

They massively peddled weapons and equipment, causing the combat power of North Blue pirates to skyrocket.

Moreover, they actively ventured out of the North Blue into the Grand Line, engaging in rampant plundering.

Other World Government member nations in the North Blue suffered greatly, continuously submitting complaints and appeals.

The World Government naturally directed all this pressure toward Kong.

Even though Kong had dispatched all mid and low-ranking officers from headquarters, they couldn't quickly resolve the North Sea predicament.

Calculating it all, only the East Sea remained relatively compliant.

Not requiring many additional troops, the existing forces in the East Sea were sufficient to handle the pirate uprisings.

After all, in this backwater East Sea, pirates with bounties of ten or twenty million could still act arrogantly.

Pirates have no future in the East Sea.

Decades later, it remains the same - no future.

Yet ironically, it was precisely this unpromising East Sea that nurtured two consecutive generations of Pirate Kings.

All the pirate fortune in the East Sea was absorbed by these two Pirate Kings, leaving nothing behind.

What is gained must be lost, wouldn't you agree, East Sea!
