Chapter 22 - Two-Tomoe Sharingan! Minato Namikaze’s Shock

After completing all his exchanges, Ning Feng glanced at the remaining just over ten thousand instance points and chose not to spend them any further.

Once everything was settled, he looked at the Konoha jōnin and chūnin who had already returned to their posts, and only then did a relaxed smile appear on his face.

Beside him, Kushina Uzumaki took a deep breath, her expression filled with gratitude.

"Peak… if it weren't for you this time, I'm afraid my child and I would have already been taken away by the Mist ninjas. I really hope that the child in my belly can grow up to be as strong as you."

"Kushina-nee, what are you saying?"

Ning Feng chuckled. "The child in your belly will definitely become a great ninja one day!"

Ning Feng wasn't exaggerating in the slightest.

After all, the child Kushina was carrying right now was none other than the future Seventh Hokage—Uzumaki Naruto.

Hearing this, Kushina was instantly amused, her face lighting up with joy as she subconsciously stroked her belly.

"Actually, as a mother, the last thing I want is for my child to fight and kill every day… but this is the world of ninjas, after all…"

She sighed softly at the end.

Ning Feng glanced at her, the corner of his mouth lifting slightly.

As a Naruto fan, Ning Feng had once watched Naruto grow step by step. Especially later, when Naruto subdued the Nine-Tails and Minato and Kushina appeared together, it had deeply moved him—showing him the true greatness of a mother's love.

Even now, he could already feel Kushina's deep affection for her unborn child.

Just as Ning Feng was about to turn and leave, a sharp whistling sound suddenly rang out.

The Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, descended with several ANBU operatives.

"Peak, thank you for what you did today!"

Seeing Ning Feng, Minato immediately spoke with heartfelt gratitude.

On his way here, the ANBU had already reported in detail how Ning Feng fought against the Mist players.

At first, Minato hadn't thought much of it. After all, as someone who had survived the Third Great Ninja War and killed countless enemies, he was naturally proud—though he rarely showed it.

But the more he listened, the more shocked he became, his eyes gradually filling with disbelief.

Especially when he heard how Ning Feng had used Transformation Technique and Shadow Clones in combination to deceive the Mist ninjas and launch a decisive ambush—Minato was utterly stunned.

To use techniques like Transformation and Shadow Clone to that extent was something usually only seasoned chūnin, veterans of countless life-and-death battles, could do.

And yet… this was done by a five-year-old child.

Terrifying. Truly terrifying.

"It was only what I should have done,"

Ning Feng replied modestly.

Sure enough, seeing that Ning Feng showed not the slightest hint of arrogance even after such praise, Minato's favorability toward him skyrocketed—from 70 points straight to 80 points.

It was only then that Minato noticed something else.

Ning Feng's Sharingan… had already reached the Two-Tomoe stage.

"By the way, Peak, you should be starting at the Ninja Academy this year, right?" Minato asked after a moment's thought.

Ning Feng's growth speed had far exceeded even Minato's expectations.

Ning Feng nodded slightly, taking the chance to further increase his rapport with Minato—after all, if he could one day learn the Flying Thunder God Technique, that would be an absolute jackpot.

"With your current strength, going to the Ninja Academy would be a waste," Minato said suddenly.

"If you have time, go report to ANBU instead."

"Only in ANBU can you truly grow."

The moment those words fell, not only were the ANBU operatives present shocked—even Kushina looked utterly stunned.

ANBU was a special organization directly under the Hokage, gathering some of the strongest and most talented ninjas in Konoha.

It was both Konoha's talent cradle and its hidden backbone.

Many missions that couldn't be carried out openly were handled by ANBU.

Even a genius like Uchiha Itachi hadn't entered ANBU until he was seven or eight years old!

"But Hokage-sama," one ANBU member quickly objected,

"Peak hasn't even received a genin headband yet!"

ANBU was indeed a place to nurture talent—but it was also incredibly dangerous. No one wanted to see a prodigy like Ning Feng die too early.

"A genin headband is just a matter of moments," Minato replied calmly.

He looked at Ning Feng with clear admiration—inviting him into ANBU was also a gamble.

"Peak, what do you think?"

"ANBU…"

Ning Feng considered briefly.

He had indeed thought about joining ANBU—it was the fastest way to grow.

ANBU ninjas typically handled A-rank or higher missions, extremely dangerous, but with tremendous rewards.

He had expected it would take several months before he even had a chance.

He hadn't expected Minato to extend the invitation directly.

"No problem."

Ning Feng smiled faintly.

With Itachi in ANBU, he would have protection from his brother, greatly reducing the danger.

More importantly—only in ANBU could he achieve true growth.

Seeing Ning Feng's confidence, Minato's eyes lit up. He couldn't help but recall his own youthful days, just as spirited and fearless.

Another crisp system prompt rang out:

"Congratulations! Minato Namikaze's favorability toward you has increased to 90 points!"

Seeing the favorability reach 90, the smile on Ning Feng's face grew even brighter.

"This is an ANBU assignment card," Minato said, handing over a card etched with strange patterns.

"Take this to ANBU headquarters and report to Kakashi."

The card felt cool in Ning Feng's hand. He could even sense a faint flow of chakra within it, as if countless secrets were hidden inside.

"I understand."

Ning Feng nodded and turned to leave.

The moment he was gone, Kushina spoke up in confusion.

"Minato…"

Minato seemed to have anticipated her question.

"Kushina… did you notice it just now?"

"Peak has already awakened the Two-Tomoe Sharingan."

"What!?"

Kushina shot to her feet in shock, nearly disturbing the child in her belly.

"Even Uchiha Itachi—the greatest prodigy in Uchiha history—only awakened the Two-Tomoe Sharingan at seven or eight years old."
