Chapter 11 - Chapter 010: The Dissatisfied Bakugō

"Boom!!!"

"Boom!!!"

"Boom!!!"

Inside Venue 'A', flames shot into the sky, and smoke filled the air. Bakugō Katsuki used his Quirk unscrupulously, turning the place into a mess.

Correspondingly, his points were also skyrocketing, breaking through the fifty-point mark in the blink of an eye.

So far, Orion's points were thirty-two.

"Looks like I have to speed up." Although Orion didn't care about the competition with Bakugō Katsuki, it didn't mean he wanted to lose.

"Swoosh!"

"Boom!!!"

...

"Hey, hey, hey, the villains are all being finished off by those two. What are we supposed to fight?" Inside the venue, the examinees wailed.

Orion and Bakugō Katsuki were taking down one villain with almost every punch, reaping them at an extremely fast speed.

"It's unfair!" Many examinees began to complain. Because of these two, some examinees' scores hadn't even broken into double digits yet.

"Boom!" On the other side, after Bakugō Katsuki blew up a villain, he turned to look at Orion not far away. "Pink eye!"

"What?" Orion also punched a villain, speaking without looking back.

"What exactly is your Quirk?" Bakugō Katsuki really didn't understand. Ten months ago, he learned that Orion's Quirk was Hypnosis, but could Hypnosis take down a villain with one punch?

There must be something fishy going on!

"Guess." As he spoke, Orion smashed another villain to pieces.

Unlike Bakugō Katsuki's violent dismantling method of attack, Orion attacked the villains' weak points.

So from the start of the test until now, Orion was almost spotless, looking relaxed. Unlike Bakugō Katsuki, who was covered in dust and whose breathing was starting to become a bit chaotic.

"Guess my ass!" The force in Bakugō Katsuki's hands suddenly increased. A wave of air drifted out, bringing up a large cloud of dust, making the surrounding examinees unable to open their eyes.

At this very moment, he completely treated these villains as Orion, venting his frustration on them.

"Phew..." Finally, the last villain in front of him was blown up by Bakugō Katsuki. He was panting heavily, looking a bit wretched.

For this competition, he had also given his all. In contrast, Orion still looked relaxed, which made him even more unhappy.

"Look, what is that?" Beside Orion, several huddled examinees looked at the huge monster that suddenly appeared ahead, unable to help but gasp.

"Huh?" Bakugō Katsuki, who was in an exhausted state, looked at the examinee who spoke with confusion, not noticing the huge mecha that suddenly appeared ahead at all.

"The fourth type of villain, a 'gimmick' used to interfere with us everywhere. Even if you defeat it, it's useless," Orion stepped forward and said.

"But isn't it too big?" The examinee raised his head high, unable to help but swallow secretly.

This mecha was taller than a building. Conservatively estimated, it was probably at least thirty meters high.

"Boom..." At this moment, the huge mecha suddenly took a step forward. The surrounding high-rise buildings were all kicked over, leaving a mess.

"We can't, we can't beat it!"

"Run!"

"Ahhh! Help!"

With the first examinee running away, naturally there was a second, and a third. Before long, the surrounding mobile examinees had disappeared without a trace.

"Tch." Bakugō Katsuki stood in place, lowering his center of gravity, the corners of his mouth grinning into a thin slit. "A bunch of cowards."

"Pink eye!" Bakugō Katsuki aimed his spearhead at Orion again. "Watch closely, I'll kill it!"

"Bang!" As soon as the voice fell, Bakugō Katsuki exerted force under his feet and leaped high into the air. He gathered power in both hands, flames flourishing in his palms.

"Hah!"

"Bang!"

Bakugō Katsuki punched down, but was bounced off, not causing even a single bit of damage to the huge mecha.

"Wha..." Bakugō Katsuki did a perfect backflip in mid-air and landed steadily on the ground. Watching the huge fist getting closer and closer, his pupils contracted slightly.

Not far away, Orion narrowed his eyes slightly. The three black tomoe slowly spun, and his figure disappeared from the spot almost instantly.

"Swoosh!"

"Bang!!!"

Bakugō Katsuki only felt the scene before his eyes change for a moment. When he reacted, the huge monster's fist had fallen, but he was somehow in a safe place.

"Ding ling ling~"

"Alright, examinees, the exam is over."

The bell rang, and a slightly lazy voice came from the broadcast. As the voice fell, the huge mecha also stopped moving.

"The results of the practical exam will be announced within a week. Now, please proceed to the classroom for the written exam."

"...It's over?" Bakugō Katsuki, who had reacted, had several cross-popping veins on his forehead. He turned around suddenly, only to see a pair of crimson eyes.

"?!!" Bakugō Katsuki took a few steps back to put some distance between himself and Orion, speaking with dissatisfaction, "Who asked you to do that?"

"If I didn't do that, was I supposed to watch you get crushed into meat paste?" Orion patted the dust off his body, then turned around and walked towards the exit. "I'm leaving first. The result of our competition will be revealed in a week."

"..." Bakugō Katsuki watched Orion's retreating figure without speaking for a long time.

About two minutes later, he looked at where he had just stood, unable to help but clench his fists tightly, a trace of anger flashing in his eyes. "That pink eye's Quirk is definitely not just Hypnosis!"

"I must kill that guy!"
