Chapter 13 - Chapter 13 Historical Truth and Anyang College

After returning home, Zhu Ziyang finished breakfast and, as usual, began to read.

Zhu Ziyang was sitting at his desk, in front of a book titled "Angel God's Revelation."

This was a book from the era of the Spirit Hall, about thirteen thousand years ago, documenting information and secrets of the Supreme Pontiff's family.

Why did Zhu Ziyang suddenly start reading such a book? This has to be traced back to the memories of his past life in his mind.

Last night, after Zhu Ziyang's sea of consciousness fully opened, those previously very vague memories were completely assimilated and absorbed by him, impacted by his mental force. The memories he couldn't see clearly before all became his own memories.

Influenced by these memories, Zhu Ziyang now felt a strong aversion and disdain for a person named Tang San. This made Zhu Ziyang, who had inexplicably gained a segment of memory, very confused. Thus, to understand the reason, he searched through that memory, hoping to find an answer. Then, he found a book titled "Peerless Tang Sect." And for this book, which he had never read, he actually felt a sense of lingering regret. Clearly, this was also influenced by those past life memories.

He clarified his thoughts: his past life's aversion and disdain for the person named Tang San were entirely due to the book "Peerless Tang Sect." If that was the case, then it was easy to handle. Zhu Ziyang wanted to find the content of this book in his memories, but he only found some sporadic fragments and a deeply impressive ending scene.

These scattered fragments only mentioned some names and incomplete events, but that ending immediately made Zhu Ziyang understand where his past life's emotions came from.

The scene of that picture was as follows: The Sun Moon Empire's million-strong army was at the gates of Shrek City. A great deity, praised by the World, suddenly descended, kidnapped a young child, and threatened the child's mother with the child's life, demanding a retreat... That great deity was Tang San. And that child was the young emperor of the Sun Moon Empire, while the child's mother was known as the Empress War God.

Although Zhu Ziyang didn't understand whether this ending scene was true or false, from his personal feelings, the God who used a child to threaten a mother was indeed despicable, and his methods were truly contemptible!

From this ending fragment, Zhu Ziyang also realized that the content of the book "Peerless Tang Sect" was very likely about the future of their World, because whether it was the Tang Sect in the title, or the Sun Moon Empire, Shrek City, and that God mentioned in the book, all had corresponding existences on the current continent.

The Sun Moon Empire and Shrek City go without saying; one is one of the four great Empires of the continent and the birthplace of spirit tools. The other is the location of the continent's number one academy, Shrek Academy. The Tang Sect, Zhu Ziyang remembered, was mentioned in some historical records as once being the continent's number one Sect, said to have been founded by that God ten thousand years ago. As for that God, Tang San, he was even more famous, a figure unavoidable in the history books of various countries!

Could it be that the Sea God, widely worshipped on the continent, the Thousand Hands Douluo Tang San, historically known as the savior, was truly a hypocritical person? Zhu Ziyang's thirst for knowledge was instantly ignited, so he eagerly searched for ancient texts from ten thousand years ago in the library, wanting to understand more about that magnificent era of great change!

It's truly fascinating!

Zhu Ziyang couldn't help but smile, his eyes full of excitement.

Half a month later.

It was the start of the school year, so Zhu Changhe took Zhu Ziyang, Jiang Nannan, and two other children from the village to report to the Anyang City Junior Spirit Master Academy.

Anyang City Junior Spirit Master Academy, as the only Spirit Master Academy in Anyang City, had the best geographical location and building materials. The tallest building in all of Anyang City was its student dormitory.

This was an academy into which generations of Anyang City Lords had poured their hearts and souls. Half of Anyang City's annual fiscal revenue was used for the academy's expenses. The academy's principal was usually concurrently held by the City Lord, and the academy's teachers were all carefully selected Spirit Masters of Spirit Grandmaster level and above from within Anyang City. Children entering the academy typically received six years of education, during which the academy would acquire spirit rings for all students who met the promotion conditions, without charging any fees.

It was precisely because of such investment that Anyang Academy annually had students admitted to famous advanced academies on the continent, such as Heavenly Soul Academy and Di'ao Academy.

At the entrance of Anyang Academy, Liang Ying had been waiting for a long time. After Zhu Changhe handed the children over to her, he left. As a closed academy, Anyang Academy did not allow outsiders to enter freely unless they had a City Lord's order. Liang Ying served as a teacher at the academy.

Before Zhu Changhe left, he specifically pulled Zhu Ziyang aside and admonished him.

"Son, you are already a Spirit Master. You've been intelligent since childhood, but Dad still hopes you remain humble and can learn something at Anyang Academy, such as interpersonal skills," Zhu Changhe said earnestly.

"I will, Dad," Zhu Ziyang had no choice but to nod in agreement.

"Of course, don't spend too much time on it. Your main task right now is still cultivation, strive to become the first person from our Anyang City to be admitted to Shrek Academy!" Zhu Changhe admonished again.

"I will, Dad," Zhu Ziyang replied.

Zhu Changhe had nothing more to say, so he let go of Zhu Ziyang and let him follow his mother to register.

Liang Ying took Zhu Ziyang, Jiang Nannan, and the other two children to the registration office.

"Teacher Liang, is this...?" The staff member at the registration office stood up quickly when he saw Liang Ying and asked.

"I'm bringing these children to register," Liang Ying said with a smile, pointing to the four little ones behind her.

"Oh, oh! I see," the staff member realized, nodding repeatedly.

Registration went smoothly. After all, all four children possessed spirit power, meeting the academy's admission requirements. Then came the tuition fee, one gold coin per year, which was no problem for the Zhu family. Liang Ying directly paid all six years of Zhu Ziyang's tuition in one go.

At the same time, she also paid Jiang Nannan's tuition. After all, in her heart, Jiang Nannan was already her family's future daughter-in-law. Moreover, she knew Jiang Nannan's family situation; one gold coin was truly too much for her family. If they couldn't afford the tuition, she would have to become a work-study student, and Liang Ying didn't even need to mention the treatment of work-study students. Just the collective dormitory for ten people was enough for Liang Ying to never allow Jiang Nannan to become a work-study student.

Registration was over, so Liang Ying took the four children to the dormitory building to settle their belongings.

They arrived at the tallest building in all of Anyang City, a four-story building.

Liang Ying sent the other two children away, then dismissed Jiang Nannan, pulled Zhu Ziyang aside, and started whispering.

"Mom, what are you doing?" Zhu Ziyang asked, looking at his mysterious mother in confusion.

"Yang Yang, Mom pulled some strings and got you and Nannan into the same dorm. Go for it, try to win her over before graduation!" Liang Ying said excitedly, her eyes glowing green.

"..." Zhu Ziyang was dumbfounded, momentarily at a loss for words. After a long while, he finally managed to blurt out, "Mom, we're only six years old!"

"What's wrong with being six? Won't you be twelve when you graduate? Which of your uncles in the village didn't get married and start a family at twelve or thirteen?" Liang Ying said nonchalantly, her tone very excited. "Yang Yang, Nannan is such an excellent girl, you absolutely cannot miss out on her!"

"I'm leaving!" Zhu Ziyang felt he couldn't talk to Liang Ying any longer; if he continued, he might just get censored.

So, ignoring her calls, he turned and walked into the dormitory building. Jiang Nannan, who had been watching from the side, immediately followed him.

"Really, what's there to be shy about!" Liang Ying said with some dissatisfaction, watching her son leave.

Liang Ying muttered to herself and then left.
